Ballymacashen Cottage is a 19th century traditional Irish cottage set in a rural setting in the heart of County Down. Relax and enjoy this cosy cottage, with a wood burning stove and quiet surroundings, or enjoy a variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area. We are spoilt with local pubs and restaurants in the nearby villages of Balloo and Lisbane, but the cottage is also only 13miles from Belfast City Centre. Converted in 2023, this old Irish traditional barn is just 10 miles from Belfast and 2 miles from the busy market town of Comber. My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities and art and culture. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families. If you love nature, beautiful walks and fishing then this would be an ideal location for you! Game of Thrones fans would also think it a good spot. Please note there is one bedroom with a queen bed downstairs and a day bed which can be made into two singles upstairs. There is no door between.
