Ma famille vit dans une maison typique de Siwan, qui dispose d'une partie réservée aux membres de la famille et d'une partie réservée aux invités. Les Siwans sont des Bédouins et notre maison est dans un style typique moderne Siwan. L'espace de vie dispose de fauteuils bas et d'un sol moquette pour s'asseoir. Un lit normal Siwan est un matelas mou que nous mettons sur le sol. C'est très confortable, mais on a aussi des lits si vous préférez. Nous servons de la nourriture sur de grandes plateaux d'où nous mangeons ensemble. Notre maison est dans une rue calme avec de bons voisins et à seulement 2 minutes de la gare routière de Siwa.
