Randonnée thérapeutique dans la forêt primaire en Nouvelle-Zélande
The perfect way to discover the NZ forest during this relaxing nature immersion experience. We will meet on the steps of the Auckland Museum, with fantastic ocean views out to the Auckland Harbour and Hauraki Gulf. We will introduce each other and I will discuss the history of this beautiful park - one of Auckland's extinct volcanos and a Maori living and hunting ground. Next we will walk further into the park and begin with a nature meditation designed to connect and open you to the magic of nature. A delightful stream and waterfall meet us on our journey. I will walk you through a series of gentle sensory invitations, designed to open you to the beauty and magic of nature. We will smell, touch, breathe, experience, gaze at and get to know the beings that live in this special place. We will finish the experience with an informal tea ceremony with native herb tea and snacks. Other things to note: The walk will be slow, a moderate level of fitness is required. Not suitable for wheel chairs. If it is a rainy day the tour will go ahead and will be adapted to suit. The minimum number for this walk is two people, if you are a solo traveller and I don't get anyone else you have the option to cancel and get a full refund or to pay for two places and get an extra special personal experience.
À la recherche de la bière artisanale d'Auckland
•Taste real fresh NZ craft beer with seasoned pros •Start at craft beer freehouse with a paddle of cold local brews •Take a harborside and city scenic walking tour between pubs •Taste the beer in Auckland’s oldest brewpub •Drink more beer and eat tasty food in lively central pub On this experience you will get to taste real New Zealand craft beer, lovingly brewed by our microbreweries. Many bars and pubs in Auckland city centre sell what they call craft beer. These are often beers made by one of our duopoly owners of the alcohol industry here in New Zealand. So actually the 'craft beer' is made by an overseas multinational company. So, all the craft beer we taste on our experience is made by locally owned small microbreweries who are dotted up and down the country. Because we are tiny we have easy access to beer brewed outside of Auckland. There are still only a handful of places in the city centre that showcase the craft brewers work, but good news is, we'll take you there! A few years ago we saw this as an opportunity and the Great Auckland Craft Beer Hunt was born. We combine drinking amazing local beer with a small tiki tour of the city in between bars. Our guides are all about the beer, good conversation and catching you up on all things New Zealand. Also happy to help with journey planning over the beers if you are just starting out your adventure in NZ.

We'll sit down to mingle over a complimentary drink at a classy spot followed by a tasting at an artisan chocolatier. A short bus ride uptown will reveal an arty neighborhood and a bird-filled valley above Auckland's town square. Wild Coast Discovery
This fully guided health and wellbeing adventure focuses on reconnecting with natural surroundings while discovering the wildest coastline in Auckland. We begin with a scenic drive through the north west to the ocean side of the Waitakere ranges. See the vast wetlands and kick off your shoes - walk 10 minutes up the shallow estuary stream to the lower viewpoint of the monstrous black sand dunes at Bethells Lake "Lake Wainamu" and climb them if you want to! Snacks and warm up stretches on arrival at the main beach before we adventure into the west coast wilderness. Follow your experienced and safety conscious guide as he navigates you through the estuary to find the cathedral sea caves that tunnel into the natural amphitheatre covered in native forest. Climb the track to stand on the cliff top rocks once part of the mainland for a rest break with a view. Walk the elevated forest track with views of the whole coast back to discover black quicksand in the estuary. Approximately 3 hours return. Next stop is the tallest lookout in Auckland for the best views of the whole city from 350m above sea level including all three harbours. Many other exciting surprises await groups who embark on this journey. WARNING: Bethells Beach, although beautiful and peaceful, can be an extremely dangerous place to explore and is not suggested without the company of an experienced guide.

Le monde merveilleux des abeilles mellifères sur l'île Waiheke
A look into the wonderful world of the honey bee on Waiheke. We will give you a talk on being safe around bees and what you will see in the hive, the different parts that make up a hive, the life-cycle of the honey bee, the different equipment we use in beekeeping. Then we will put on our bee suits and have a look in some working beehives, where we will teach you how to identify the Queen bee, worker bees and the drones. We will also take a taste of honey straight from the hive. We will see where the baby bees are grown, find the eggs and lava, identify wax and propolis. You will get a full bee suit to wear and gloves, so If you want to handle the bees you are most welcome, but if you just want to observe then that’s fine too. If it's a nice day and the bees are happy and out foraging then we may get to see the bee dance. We will then take a look at our honey processing room/honey packing room, depending on what time of year it is. Then we will have some lite refreshments where you get to enjoy our raw honey on a hot crumpet or toast, honey tastings and any questions you may have on bees. Each honey bee adventurer will get a jar of our wonderful honey to take with them. If it’s wet but the weather is not to bad, then we can do this undercover, but if its windy and wet or a storm then we will have to cancel as the bees like to stay warm and dry like us.

This is a unique experience to go visit and hang out with and learn about real life glow worms without even leaving the city. We go in small groups of no more than 5, we are very careful where we tread and what we touch, it’s an intimate and special experience every time. We’ve been tracking and monitoring thriving colonies of bush glow worms and we are pleased to report they are lighting up like the stars and glowing bright! The atmosphere is pretty electric in there as we walk past and hear runninthousands of sparkling glow worms! You’ll hear the story of the Titiwai or the New Zealand Glow worm. The luminescent larval is endemic to these shores, so it's a one off for most. The local bush reserves remain a secret, phones are turned off, and you may asked to wear a blindfold. These are exceptionally sensitive areas. Thanks for your help preserving this. The experience is an easy flat bush walk, you will not be on a boat or in a cave. Other things to note These are short night time bush walks, there is no rafting or boating. Cell phones are to be turned off. Your guide will carry a torch but we use only the red light. No locations are to be recorded. Please feel free to tip your guide. We will not be offended!
