It sits in the middle of a beautiful 9-acre blueberry farm with 2 porches for you to sit and rock while watching the sun rise and set. Step back in time and find rest and relaxation without sacrificing modern conveniences. The Chesteen is named after Chesteen Wildes, the current owner's great grandfather. Built in 1890.

The Lodge at Melan Farm is a beautifully secluded event and lodging venue. The hotel rooms are located on the right side of the building in a separate hallway from the event space, and all feature their own, private room entrances, kitchenette, stocked coffee bar, en-suite bathroom with tile shower, and smart tv(s). Room 1 (this listing) is handicap accessible with a roll in shower and roll under sink. A wheelchair ramp is on the patio. The sofa in the living area folds out to make a queen bed.

Quiet Country Times

My home is in the countryside on a working farm. I don’t have cows, pigs or pets around. Some of my land is cultivated and the rest is surrounded by pine and oak trees. If you like quietness except for hearing birds singing and an occasional owl hooting then you will love my home. I also have plenty of deer and turkeys roaming around. It is located on a well, maintained dirt road only one half a mile from paved road into town.
