Our well-designed studio is great for the solo traveler. This cozy accommodation has a double bed, private small bathroom and shower. Room has a cube-sized refrigerator with dishes and small seating space. TV-Free Zone. It’s located close to the main building near our grill courtyard and communal fire pit. It is not a freestanding cabin. There is a porch area with a table and two chairs right outside the door overlooking landscaping near the main parking. The Highlands is an adult-only property.

Your own space/ no shared rooms, easy access ground floor and convenient location. This unique place has a fresh style all its own. Formally a secret famous recording studio for pop-rock bands, it was known as “The Hearst”. World famous records by the Killers were made here, “Hot fuss” and “Sawdust”. The first room, (now bedroom) was the control room with recording equipment and the second room (now tub room) was where the musicians played. Welcome pets for a fee if $35/per pet -per night.

This is a street facing room with one queen bed, a sofa; and a full kitchen. We are a small family run Motel in the Marina district, close to Cow Hollow and Pacific Heights. You’ll love this motel because of the walk-able neighborhood, the roomy kitchen, cozy European feel and the free off-street parking. This is a dog friendly room.
