Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. Close to Clarks Factory Shopping Village with historic Glastonbury and Wells a short drive away. 100yards from country pub. Close to junction 23 on M5

Two Bedroom Cottage in the Village of Wedmore

Situated on a quiet lane yet just a couple of minutes walk from the vibrant village centre of Wedmore with its pubs, shops and restaurants, Rose Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Further afield, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and the sea are all within easy reach. In the Somerset countryside, the Stableblock is part of Gothelney Farm - a family run farm, focusing on producing food for people that is mindful of both their health & the health of our ecosystem & climate. The fields around the Stableblock are home to our pasture-fed rare breed pigs & also grow cereals used by local bakers, including at the Field Bakery - situated just next to the Stableblock! We hope that being at the heart of the Farm adds to your experience whilst staying with us.

Close to Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Bath, as well as many other beauty spots and attractions. A good selection of pubs and restaurants, some accessible on foot. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.
