For the last 10 years, fairy penguins have made this cottage their home, waddling up from the beach each night and nesting. A truly unforgettable sight and magical experience. Located between Burnie & Wynyard, it's perfect for exploring the northwest coast. The beach is just across the road, with a walking track for biking and skateboarding. We're located up a gravel road on the north west coast, you won't find any other tourists here. Soak in the wood fired tub, under the blackwood tree. Cosy up to the wood fire, roasting marshmallows in your star Gazer yurt. A comfy queen bed and a backyard of adventure, its a Tasmanian version of luxury camping.

Built in 1912 this cottage is one of the oldest homes in Cooee & features 1 bathroom & 2 toilets. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & great ocean views too!

'Mistover' Farm Cottage & Galloway Stud

'Mistover' is a 32 hectare property with pasture, bushland, creeks, dams and plenty of space for your pets to run! It is home to Galloway cattle and long term resident Jonesy, the English Pointer, who loves visitors! The accommodation is a two storey, 2 bedroom, self-contained stone cottage with open fire place and private balcony. 'Mistover' is situated along the Murchison Highway, 20 kms from Burnie/Wynyard Airport and is on the doorstep of the Tarkine Wilderness!
