In the winter the cabin is heated by the woodburner, or a portable gas fire.

Dartmoor National Park - riverside lodge, Mole End

Wild birds and flowers, deer,fishing (day/week permit) starry skies. Small play area. The lodge is warm and cosy and well equipped for up to 5 people maximum. A fast road network only 10 mins away gives an easy journey and access to the beaches in South Devon, North Cornwall and the south west of England.

‘Fern Lodge’ is one of four, private lodges situated on the second lake of ‘Venn Lakes’, on the outskirts of Winkleigh. The lodge has its own, private garden and hot tub, which is not overlooked, and has parking alongside. Coarse fishing is available for an additional £15 per 12 hours, or £25 per 24hrs for up to three of your own rods per person. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, at a maximum number of two.
