Our fourth Air BnB property, Shady Rest #4, is located in a small, quiet, residential town home complex, minutes from historic downtown and only about 3 miles from Parris Island MCRD. It is approx. 1200 sq. feet of comfortable living space, with 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a roomy living space with a sleeper sofa. We are experienced Air BnB hosts who have reached Superhost status due to our attention to every detail to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one.

A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.

Fish off the bank or bring your canoe, kayaks or small fishing boat to enjoy the river. There is a boat landing in the neighborhood and just down from the cottage. This is a studio cottage that sleeps up to 4. Sit on the screen porch and enjoy the sunrise and river views. Full kitchen and bathroom. No bedrooms.

Nestled among live oak trees, surrounded by a natural southern garden, the Live Oak Retreat provides a truly peaceful and private setting. This charming cottage built in the 1940's was recently updated to offer modern conveniences for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This quiet neighborhood is a 15 minute drive to Summerville, 50 minutes to historic Charleston, and 50 minutes Folley beach. The barn is well equipped for longer stays and boasts sleeping for up to 7. 1 King bed, 2 queens and a rollout bed. This is new construction in 2024 and is very comfortable.
