Cosy, rural Thatched cottage

The Rockhouse - a refurbished, traditional cottage set in generous landscaped grounds, including a small wood and stream. A peaceful location to relax and unwind in, with no TV but good WIFI. An ideal base from which to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, the new Blueway to Arranmore and the scenery of The Rosses and Donegal. Several beaches are a few minutes drive away and numerous walks around the surrounding area. Dungloe (An Clochan Liath) is only a 6km drive with bars, restaurants and shops.

Luxurious modern cottage

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

Situated at the far end of Carrickfinn peninsula, the house is located right by 2 sandy beaches. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside the village of Kilcar with Sleive League to the West and Killybegs and Donegal town to the south. This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.

Ideal location for touring close to glenveagh national park and derryveagh mountains. 25 minutes drive to Gartan outdoor centre where there are lots of activities kayaking ,canoeing etc.Very popular area for fishing and hillwalking.
