Our comfortable cabin is the perfect place to get-away to beautiful Homer, AK. This private cabin has a full kitchen and bath as well as a loft bedroom with a view of Kachemak Bay. The cabin is located on a shared property with our home which is ideal for providing assistance with anything you might need from your hosts.
Guests describe our cabin as cute, cozy, charming, quiet, and with a great view, especially in the bedroom. There is a plush couch to relax and read, table and chairs for eating or writing (Yes! A couple of books have been written here), and a full kitchen. The bathroom has a shower, plenty of hot water, and fresh linens. We've heard the bed in the loft bedroom is incredibly comfortable with plush pillows and a down comforter.
East Hill is a gorgeous drive and worth the few extra minutes out of town. The cabin is under 10 minutes to town and the Spit. Just a bit further up the hill from the cabin is the Skyline lookout with vast views of the Bay and glaciers.

  • This place was awesome. Great little cabin with a very comfy bed and wonderful views from the loft. Also beautiful views of the Spit on the drive up. Great hosts with wonderful tips on where to eat, drink, and be merry in Homer! Would definitely stay here again.

  • Great value! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. I would recommend this place to friends.

  • Beautiful cozy little cabin. Perfect for a couple. Makes you want one of your own.

    Michelle2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was probably the best view we’ve had from an AirBnB and that’s saying a lot cuz we’ve been to a lot places. I can write a review for just the view from the bedroom but wanna do justice to the host by reviewing the rest of the place. Tucked away among the woods, yet minutes within the town of Homer, this was a gem of a place and an incredible value for money. The host, upon check-in, greeted us with some eggs from their own chickens and made us feel right at home. The cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you might want to have a comfortable stay. There are enough dishes to cook your own meal, beer stocked in the fridge and a clean bathroom with all the supplies. It’s a 10-15 minute drive to the Homer spit and all the touristy places. I’d say this is perfect for a couple or solo traveller, anything more than that and you’d have to manage your space to suit your needs. All in all an amazing listing and highly recommended.

A studio apartment that would be excellent for both singles or couples at a great value!
This is a medium sized bedroom with a closet, small bathroom with shower, washer/dryer and an eat-in style dining/kitchenette area with a wonderful view of the Kachemak bay!
It’s very easy to find just off the main road. And just east a mile further is a general store with a sandwich/pizza shop and rustic Alaskan atmosphere. It’s a fav with locals but we share :)
  • Great spot 15 minutes to spit very comfortable I would stay again!

  • We loved our stay here. It had everything we needed and was super clean! I really appreciated accommodations such as oatmeal and pancake mix. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook basic meals. The bed was very comfortable. Best part was the AMAZING view of the mountains. Jesse was very hospitable and responded quickly. Checking in and out was super easy.

  • Million dollar views of Grewingk Glacier, Kachemak Bay, and the Homer Spit from every window! In-unit washer and dryer did the job after a long day’s hike across the bay. Especially appreciated the hot water kettle, tea, and oatmeal in the AM. Thanks for a great getaway!

  • Really cute little place with a kitchenette and beautiful view!

    Kasey2018-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first AirBnB experience. It was great! The studio was perfect for two people. He provided Netflix and WiFi. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had our own stair entrance so it didn’t feel like we were bothering anyone as we came and left. The view was awesome. We are from Anchorage, AK so we have been to Homer before but the host still gave us great suggestions. The location is a little drive away from downtown Homer, but we didn’t mind because it was nice and quiet. When you use the address provided on AirBnB, it leads you to an empty lot, so type it in manually and then it’s super easy to find. The little kitchen area had dishes and silverware for two along with a small table for two as well. It was clean, I mean my boyfriend hates hotels because of the cleanliness, but he definitely thought this place was clean and comfortable. There was a minor thing with the space heater, it gave us an error so we turned it off. Otherwise, this was an awesome first experience and we would do it again.

If you’re looking for a place look no further this will be a perfect place for your Homer adventures.

  • A very nice place to stay. Fun to watch float planes take off and land on the lake. The moose came right up the the house just before dark.

  • Book this AirBnB - you won’t regret it. The view is beautiful, the space is spotless and comfortable, and Joey was very kind, responsive, and respectful of our privacy. We loved enjoying our coffee in the morning looking out over the lake and the mountains and watching a family of moose graze. Very quiet and serene but close to Homer & the spit. This is heaven on earth.

Cozy ,stand alone, 2 bedroom unit. 7 single beds so the kids wont fight and you don't have to snuggle with your fishing buddy! Amazing view of the snow capped mountains , the bay and the Spit. Enjoy your dinner or morning coffee on the deck, or grill up your fish on the BBQ grill on the deck.
  • Cute space behind the host house with a gorgeous view. We were one of the first groups of guests to stay. Needs a couple details worked out before I’d stay again at current rate but it seems to be a work in progress so maybe completed for your stay! Close proximity to host’s house and family. Clean area but very bare bones. Make sure you bring anything you’ll run back out for (like a wine opener for us). That included food stuffs like cream and sugar for coffee.

    Angie2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • This was exactly what we were looking for in a rental. Would stay here again!

    Morgan2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful view of the Homer Spit, clean and roomy place to stay. It was up a hill and was very quiet. Charles was flexible with check-in time and left the keys out for us when we arrived. Also had some granola bars and water bottles out for us, which was a nice touch.

    Emily2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing view! Really nice place, comfortable beds, pristine bathroom, washer and dryer. The flowers were a nice touch! Great place to stay!

    Rendy2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Charles is a great host. Don't let the fact that the place sits above a garage in a red barn looking building fool you when you pull up! The place is super clean, comfortable beds, cute kitchen and living room, and just a short distance (5 minutes) from the main city of Homer. And the view of the Homer Spit and Kachemak bay is great. It's a 2 bedroom place with 3 beds in one room, 2 beds in another, and the living room has a pull-out sofa and space for yet another pull-out bed. So the place is perfect for 3-4 people and could accommodate up to 6 or 7. For me, it's perfect.

    James2019-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Charles' place was perfect for our one-night stay. Check-in and checkout were a breeze, and the view from the deck is sublime.

If you are looking for a quiet and secluded getaway, enjoy being surrounded by rich organic vegetables, and you'd like to experience yurt life, then The Farm Yurt at Twit(t)er Creek Gardens awaits... Our thriving micro-farm is located 20 minutes above Homer, in the rolling hills off Ohlson Mountain Road. We'll provide you with farm-fresh eggs for two, coffee, and a bag of our fresh hand-cut Greens.
The yurt sleeps two (comfy bedding is provided), has a camp kitchen with utensils, pots, plates, a hand coffee grinder, french press, a small propane burner and fresh water on tap. There is a propane heater to take the chill off and keep the yurt space cozy for the cooler fall nights. A short and rustic path winds through the woods to get there. It is completely private and nestled in a grove of beautiful cottonwood trees. There's also a tidy little outhouse around the back. It's a beautiful Yurt, made right here in Homer and we're excited to share this special hidden space with you all...
Ohlson Mountain Road is a gem... We like to say that it's the prettiest drive in America that nobody knows about. On a clear day you can see the big volcanoes across the inlet and all of the Kenai Mountains as they taper off into the Pacific Ocean. There are certainly places to walk and admire the views and the wildflowers in the summer, and come winter, the Lookout Mountain Ski Trails are right out the back door, along with Homer's one and only volunteer operated Rope Tow...
  • Best yurt experience so far! It’s definitely a solid 3 minute walk through fireweed/brush on a marked trail but the secludedness is absolutely worth it. Perfectly clean, comfy bed and pillows, dishes/utensils/cooler and water provided. Even fresh eggs and greens from the farm(which we are sad we forgot to take). Books, board games and a propane heater that kept us warm all night(helps of you start it a little earlier Before going to bed. Would stay again!

  • This yurt is amazing. Emily is wonderful. Easy to communicate with, fast to respond. From the first moment you walk into the yurt, you fall in love with it. Emily really thought about every little detail to create a space that is just perfect for your every need. I wish we could've stayed longer. Highly recommended host and place to stay. Thank you so much, Emily!

  • Thank you Farm Yurt!!! This was the experience of a lifetime. Homer is everything it looks from afar and then some. When they say, "the prettiest drive in America that no one knows about" they really mean it. The Yurt could not have provided a more complete Alaska experience for us. It was absolutely perfect in every way. We both agree we wouldn't have changed even one tiny detail. It is set up in a charming way. A small propane heater kept us warm. The Yurt was dry in the rain. The sound of raindrops on the roof brought a sense of calm I don't normally feel in the city. If no power and no running water are an issue for you then I would suggest perhaps opening your mind to a more simple way of life you might not be used to. All of the comforts of home are at the Yurt including a "5 gallon water jug" setup with a wash basin for dishes. A propane stove. Fresh, locally roasted coffee beans with a hand press with cream and sugar. Fresh eggs and the best greens I've ever tasted from the farm. The outhouse is cleaner and nicer than most all public restrooms. Our tour of the farm was eye open evening- farm exceeding USDA organic standards. They had an "open farm" event for the local community and were even thoughtful enough to save us a parking space up front by the trail to the Yurt. It's maybe a 3 or 4 minute walk up the trail which is an experience in itself. Handmade signs guiding the way. In fact, it's handmade everything. We even met a local who took us Halibut fishing on their boat. Absolutely magical. We cannot wait to visit again. Thank you so much Emily and the Farm Yurt!!! #thefarmyurt

  • This yurt is the place for adventurers seeking inspiration, serenity, and membership to the "slow life movement." I am trying to play off the slow food movement's emphasis on making a delicious meal for yourself by taking time and being present because that is exactly what you will find at Emily's (Hidden by Airbnb) Creek Gardens yurt. Pure calmess. If the stars align for you to stay here, give it at least a full day and night where you dont leave (bring groceries and cook a wholesome meal for yourself). Honest to goodness you wont regret it. People go on vacation to experience the feelings you will have in the yurt. Magic!

    Rachel2018-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Emily’s place is a rare find with wonderful greenery around. Had a wonderful breakfast made out of farm fresh greens, eggs and milk. We were fortunate enough to meet the resident bald eagle and capture good pictures. It is a good disconnect from the urban life and stay in a farm that grows 50 types of vegetables and has 15 chickens and 2 pigs. Thank you Emily for make the trip a memorable one!

    Palak2019-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Hands down a true gem. A bald eagle welcomed us. The yurt is spacious and bright (bed really comfy) and overlooks the forest. Host lives close by and communication is on top! Simply a must stay.

This is a 14' dry yurt above Bear Canyon. Canyon Rim Trail runs just outside your door. During your stay, you'll take in beautiful views of Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit. We are located east of Homer, 1/2 mile above the walking/biking trail that runs from Homer along East End Road. We are also just 1/2 mile (a 10 minute walk) from Bear Creek Winery.
This tiny yurt has a loft with a double bed and also a cozy reading nook which can sleep an additional person. The kitchenette has a stove and oven, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, toaster, plenty of pots and pans, dishes, etc... Since it is a dry yurt, there will be a large jug of water in the yurt for brushing teeth, making coffee, doing dishes, etc. The water in the jug is drinkable, but you'll also find bottled water in the fridge. There is a shared outhouse just down the path. There are not showers or laundry on site. Most guests choose to go to The Washboard, a local laundromat, which is 4 miles from here. There is a woodstove with plenty of firewood, a space heater, and plenty of bedding in case you get chilly. WiFi and cellphone service tend to be a bit spotty in the yurt and sometimes on the property, which some people love, but if you are planning to be doing business, streaming videos, etc., this probably isn't the place for you.
  • Convenient to the spit. Very clean. Lots of extras. Both sleeping areas very comfortable. Loved the view from the outhouse.

  • Jolene's Yurt is so adorable! Has everything needed for a stay or two. You have the ability to hike right outside the Yurt and get a view of Homer's Spit. Pretty convenient to get to and perfect for a couple on a roadtrip!

This beautiful studio overlooks breathtaking Kachemak Bay. In the warm months you can enjoy s’mores by the fire, walks down the quiet road, and sitting in the bench swing taking in that beautiful view. In the winter months you can cozy up with a cup of coffee or coco, stay warm with fuzzy blankets and heated floors, play cards, relax and unwind. **NO ANIMALS PLEASE** We have a family member that is extremely allergic to animals that stays in this space.
The studio has a queen bed as the main sleeping space, and a full sized sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. It offers a full bathroom with a shower and tub. The kitchenette has a full sink, large refrigerator with pull-out freezer, convection toaster oven, coffee maker and electric kettle (no microwave or stovetop). From almost everywhere in the studio you can look out the windows and enjoy an absolutely magnificent view!
Scenic Place is a quiet, dead-end road with the most wonderful people. Taking a walk down to the end offers breathtaking views, fresh air, beautiful plants and trees, and occasionally a chat with a friendly neighbor. It is not uncommon to see plenty of wildlife as well!
  • Shelby was an outstanding host whose property overlooks the most beautiful scenery. Her space is a brand new construction within a short drive to town and the spit. Everything is provided in her thoughtful guest suite, right down to fast WiFi, cozy blankets and hot cocoa. There is a modern new bathroom with an oversized tub, and very comfortable mattress with plenty of blankets. Shelby herself was responsive and genuinely welcoming, and she was always there to help while still being very respectful of privacy. I could not have asked for a better place to stay, relax, get a bit of work done, and take in the scenery from the porch swing. You can’t go wrong in selecting Shelby’s space!

    Diane2019-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • The space is really thoughtfully designed. I spent some of the day waiting for my parents to arrive into town, so I just hung out on the porch swing drinking tea, looking out over the water and mountains, and it was wonderful. There is a binder with information on various activities and restaurants around Homer. The cleanliness and detail-oriented attitude of the host really shine through here. I would highly recommend booking this room!

Overlooking Beluga Lake, you can sit on the porch and watch float planes land, observe nesting birds including our neighborhood Sandhill Crane family, and catch a glance of moose.
Our home is a modern, cozy, single-family house with an open floor plan on the main floor and three bedrooms upstairs. Your room is a private guest room with a view of the lake. We strive to offer you a comfortable retreat while you are visiting Homer. The main bath is upstairs and shared with the family. We also have a 1/2 bath on the main floor for your use. • I cannot imagine a nicer place to stay than at Jen and Mike's home. The view, bed, shower, grounds, and ease of getting there are first class. Watch the water planes land and take off out the bedroom window, enjoy the colorful and huge flowers in the yard, take in the chickens keeping the backyard grounds bug free, or sleeping cozy in an excellent bed. I was impressed and pleased that it turned out to be such an excellent choice.

  • The cabin was cozy and comfortable. It's only a couple miles away from the main town of Homer and easy to get to from here. Joe was a great host, easy to communicate with and responsive. We really enjoyed our short stay and look forward to coming back to Homer in the future.

  • Cute and cozy cabin! The craftsmanship of the cabin was impressive and was equipped with everything we needed for our night away. Great location and our hosts provided timely information that made our stay super easy. The best part? The view is amazing! We highly recommend!

  • Fantastic cabin- great location, spectacular views and really well thought-out. Joe’s dad welcomed us on the first day and we had messages to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything on check-out. Really couldn’t have asked for more. This place is a gem and made or stay in Homer unforgettable. Thanks!

  • Cozy cabin with amazing views, very clean and comfortable! We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended!

    Nicole2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at this cabin for 4 nights as part of our 10 day honeymoon to Alaska, and this was the highlight of our trip. It was great to have space to stretch out and do some laundry. The bed was amazing- so much that we nicknamed it the "Cloud Bed!" Location was great, only 5 mins from the Spit. The cabin had all the amenities we needed to make our visit to Homer fantastic. We'll definitely be back and will recommend it to all our friends!

    Jennifer2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin and very unique. Just the kinda vibe I was looking for.

    Autumn2018-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect for a stay in Homer. It's just far away enough from town to feel like a getaway but close enough for easy access to amenities. Everything we needed was available, including bedside phone charging. If you are light-sensitive than a sleep mask is essential as not every window has a covering (and those that do are not blackout curtains). The view from the loft area is stunning.

    Sarah2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is truly perfect. We used it for three nights in the cold of winter and were toasty warm. Every single thing about the cabin was perfect. The view, the wonderful kitchen, hot chocolate and Starbucks coffee via for my morning pick me up was perfect. The bed upstairs was one of the best mattresses we have ever slept on and Joe's towels were thick and comfortable. Having the ability to do laundry when needed was also very helpful.

    Homer, Alaska, États-Unis

Quiet and cozy fully furnished Tiny Home nestled on Historic Turkington Estates. 5 star rated super hosts of 3 other airbnb listings here in Homer, we're excited to share this new space with guests venturing to Alaska! The panoramic view of Kachemak Bay from Turkington Estate's secluded 28 acres is one of the most breathtaking views you can experience while visiting Homer. Grewingk Glacier, Poots Peak, Gull Island, the Homer Spit and more; they're all visible!
The Tiny Home sits at the top of our estate with an incredible view from the deck! You will have full access to the property to walk around and soak up the view from every angle. The Tiny Home sits adjacent to the main vacation rental, Scott's grandparent's home which was converted into a vacation rental several years ago. The Guests who have stayed at the Estate the last few years have overwhelmingly enjoyed their stay however we can never accommodate everyone who inquires to stay. That's why we decided to add this tiny home to the property. This will allow even more visitors to Homer to have the opportunity to enjoy our little slice of Heaven. The Tiny Home can sleep up to 4 people. 2 comfortably on the full twin beds in the loft and 2 bonus sleeping areas on the benches below. As many may already know, a tiny home can only be 13.5 feet tall which does give the loft a lower profile. The twin mattresses are lower to the ground and although you can't stand up you can sit up and move around easily in the loft. If you have bad knees and or back however and have a hard time bending over, the stairs and lower profile of the loft may not be suitable for your needs. So far our guests have overwhelmingly loved the cozy feel and given us a 5 star rating. The benches on the lower level are slightly narrower than a regular twin mattress and are 6 feet long. If you're taller than 6 feet the benches may be a bit on the small side for you. However for many and especially children, they will probably be totally adequate. Note we will leave the bedding to make the benches into a sleeping area on the benches but you will be responsible for making those beds yourselves. The beds in the loft will be premade. The Tiny Home comes with a kitchen, small fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, coffee pot and enough utensils for 4 guests. The shower is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We also include coffee, tea and granola bars which are complimentary items to help guests get through their first morning at the cottage. There is a mini fridge provided should you need additional food or beverage items. There are two conveniently located grocery stores in the heart of downtown Homer where you can find such items. Turkington Estate is part of the last remaining 28 acres of Bob and Carolyn Turkington's original 360 Acre Farm. Turkington Estate's B&B was Bob and Carolyn's home which their eldest son, wife, children and grandchildren have converted into a rental for guests to experience this unique property. Bob and Carolyn's grandson Scott, his wife Hester and their two girls have nestled this cozy little Tiny Home on the Estate so others can enjoy its incredible views! Bob first came to Alaska in 1946. He drove from Hartford Connecticut in Model A's and eventually found his way down to Homer. He fell in love and knew this is where he wanted to live. He soon returned to Connecticut, married Carolyn and brought her back to Homer in 1948. The Estate is now in the care of Bob and Carolyn's eldest son Alan, wife Joyce, their 4 children and 6 grandchildren. The way the sun plays off of the snow covered mountain peaks, glaciers and clouds across the bay, you'll have a front row seat to some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets Alaska has to offer. Grewink Glacier, Poots Peak, Gull Island, the Homer Spit and more, they're all visible from the Estate. Through the summer months it's not uncommon to see a mamma moose and her young stroll through the property, an eagle soar overhead in search of a meal or have a flock of Sandhill Crane land in the field and forage for food with their young. Guests might enjoy going for a stroll around the property/working hay field, exploring the various flora that grows wild, picking a snack of wild raspberries from the raspberry patch in the late summer and fall or sit out on the deck and watch the sun set in the late summer! Please note Joyce and Alan live on the property and have a small Chihuahua and Miniature Schnauzer that occasionally like to go out and explore the property. They bark and new people they encounter but are harmless and won't bite. They're very friendly if you'll run their bellies :) The Turkington's are 4th Generation Alaskans/Homerites and we love the last frontier! We hope you'll choose to spend part of your Alaskan adventure with us!
Turkington Estate's 28 acres definitely sets it apart from many other locations in Homer. To be so close to town and all that Homer has to offer and yet have so much private open space and unmatched views of Kachemak Bay, you simply can't find a more unique setting in Homer.
  • Scott and Hester’s tiny home is darling and the view is breathtaking! My husband and I and our 13 year old stayed for 3 nights and it was hard to leave. We wished we had stayed longer. The bed upstairs is super comfy and it’s so quiet except for the beautiful sounds of birds. The view is beautiful. Homer is lovely too. We took a sea plane from Steller Air and the Soldovia ferry which were amazing outings. Can’t wait to return!

    Christy2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Tiny House is small but designed well. All utensils and ammenities Views are fantastic with lovely grounds. We love the tiny house and Homer.

  • Scott and Hester’s Tiny Home was the perfect little weekend get-away for my husband and me. The views are stunning and we especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sand hill cranes! The Tiny Home was neat and clean with cute little amenities and their communication for check in was fantastic. Thank you for hosting us for the weekend!

    Erin2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We spent two lovely nights in the tiny house and absolutely loved it! The view is amazing, the heater keeps the house warm at night, and the bench seating downstairs makes for a comfy place to relax. I was also a bit surprised by how well the tiny home was built. We’ve stayed in other tiny homes before, but this one was the nicest by far. It is very well insulated from both the cold and outside sound. We stayed in August, but the temperature still dipped into the high 40s, low 50s, but we were quite warm inside even though the heater wasn’t running nonstop. More impressively, I would occasionally look outside the window and see the tree leaves flailing about in the wind, but I couldn’t hear any wind noise. Likewise when it rained once, the rain hitting the roof was barely audible. I’m a big fan of the construction of this tiny home, and would definitely consider staying here again next time I’m in Homer.

  • Adorable place, good communication, and gorgeous views.

  • The Tiny House is wonderful! A great, well thought out space with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is wonderful and the view is perfection. Communication was excellent and check in an absolute breeze. Can’t recommend the Tiny House more and would definitely stay again. If the Tiny House is available for your dates. BOOK IT!

    Sheree2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • The interior space is so pleasing to the eye and comfortable for 2 people; we could have stayed much longer than just our 2 days in Homer. Loved seeing the bay thru the kitchen window and porch. Perfect!

  • This is an amazing location just outside Homer. The view is incredible and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with! The tiny house has everything you need with all the amenities! We highly recommend it!

  • I loved staying at the cabin so much last year, I came back again this year! It's a great place to rest, recharge and take in Mother Nature. Both Suraj and Michaela are excellent hosts that made me feel welcomed and well taken care of.

  • Peaceful, beautiful, serene, and a real opportunity to relax and enjoy beautiful Alaska. We enjoyed dinner over the fire, a long walk to take in the mountain views, a hot sauna, and cozy bed. Thank you for a great stay!

  • A great quiet place with exceptional and kind hosts! If you want to feel like you’re 100 miles out in the woods but be only 5, this is the place for you. We had snow galore and the boys loved being able to walk out the door and jump on a sled and go.

    Ben2019-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. What blissful serenity we found perched on Lookout Mountain. Rolling hills to the north and the majestic peaks of the Kenai to the south. The peace and quiet was a perfect respite from the hubbub of the spit and downtown. During the day moose grazed on the hillside and nights brought winnowing of Wilson's Snipe and the peeping of a Saw-Whet Owl in the valley. The cabin itself was beautifully designed and laid out, and stocked with everything one could possible need. It felt like staying in a close friend's home who happens to have very good taste. The cabin doesn't exactly have running water or an indoor bathroom. Do the words 'outhouse' or 'chamber pot' make you shudder? If so this will not be appropriate for you. Call the the Best Western. Did I mention the sauna? No, and I won't. I've said too much already. :)

We are right on the beach, amidst fields and lush woods, with a panoramic view of the mountains and glaciers, and the entire Kachemak Bay.
  • This place is a gem. Mossy was very welcoming on our arrival to her farm, as where her helpers and other guests staying there. This place is amazing. The seashell cabin was just as described and the view was even better than in the photos. If you want a peaceful farm escape and a little cabin overlooking a glacier, this is the place. I hope to return.

  • The beach located cabins were perfectly situated for a most peaceful and relaxing stay.

  • This cabin is unbelievable. I didn’t think that it could be as amazing as the pictures and the reviews, but it was even better. This place is absolutely magical. It’s secluded, cozy, and in a beautiful location. Even the outhouse has incredible views! If you stay here, I think you’ll fall in love with this place too.

    Katharine2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mossy and the rest of the staff at Seaside Farm are very friendly people and they care for a beautiful property! The views from our Hideaway Cabin were even more beautiful than the pictures show. The cabin and the rest of the facilities were eclectic and very clean. We hope to visit again very soon!

    Sophia2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • I would stay here again in a heartbeat. No electricity, no running water, and one hell of a view all with a quiet serene tranquility surrounding us. It was primitive and extremely charming. I don't mind using outhouses at all and loved the wood stove to keep us toasty. I'd probably bring my own pillow next time just because I needed something more but other than that, it was truly soul moving. We reserved the Seashell cabin.....very private and romantic, I HIGHLY recommend it :)

    Jen2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very clean tranquil environment. The pleasant surprise was the views-glacier views. Seashell was spotless and beyond accommodating. Location is steps to the beach so quiet and relaxing. This place was as close to fairytale as you are going to get. Was a great way for my boyfriend and I to celebrate a birthday.

A popular place to stay in Homer. Quaint, cozy, clean and convenient to the Homer Spit and downtown. Great views
Not a cave! The Bears Den is cozy - but not as small as it appears. Queen sized bed on main floor with another mattress in the loft. Full bathroom, limited kitchen facilities, clean and comfortable. Quiet area on waters edge convenient to Homer township and the Homer Spit with all its tourist attractions.
The views of the bay and mountains are incredible. Access to wonderful beaches just a couple miles away. Not on a main thoroughfare. Conveniently situated between downtown and the Homer Spit.
  • Ruth is pretty amazing. She made our stay at this scenic spot that much more awesome. And the views made it pretty awesome in the first place.

Carmen's Cabin (formerly known as Kachemak Bay Cabin) was built by my daughter Carmen and her father in 2005. It was situated on site to take maximum advantage of the stunning views of Kachemak Bay and the Grewingk Glacier. We are located just two miles East of town along the bike path, making the rest of Homer easily accessible.
This quaint little cabin is similar to a tiny house, it is 12x24 with a half loft and a full bathroom. The loft is accessed by a steep ladder/stairs and has one very comfortable queen size bed with extra pillows and an amazing view. Downstairs there is a full bathroom, kitchen, and living room with a futon that pulls out into a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to cook in. There are tons of windows for letting in the light and staring out at the magical view. The deck on the side is perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee while taking in the sights.
Our three acre property is conveniently located two miles from town on East End Road. Head East to Fritz Creek, or hop on the bike path into town. You will also be close to Kachemak Drive, if you want to take the scenic route to the Homer Spit. An easy five minutes from town; close enough for convenience, yet far enough to feel at home.
  • Carmen’s Cabin was great!

  • Rebecca’s place was so perfect for our little stay in Homer. Great location and amazing views. This place has everything you could need and the space was big enough, stylish and super clean. Games, books, coffee tea and even some pasta. Great communication and Rebecca was there as much as we needed her or not. would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to friends.

  • This is an astounding little spot to hang your hat at night. One of the best AirBnB’s I’ve ever stayed at. It has immediate charisma and I greatly appreciated how comfortable I felt upon arrival. There are ample board games, books and local literature in case the weather takes a turn. The view from the many windows is spectacular. The WiFi is thankfully strong, as the cell signal can be hit and miss for Verizon. Billy, the orange cat, really helped my solo-traveler loneliness, as well. Thank you Rebecca!!! I’ll certainly be back if I have the opportunity.

  • This cabin was so cozy it was easy to imagine living there. The morning view of the Grewingk glacier from the wonderful loft bed is straight out of a postcard! The location was convenient to town without feeling isolated and yet still private. Even the cookware was quality. I cant tell you how important it is to be able to cook well and simply . We have never slept so well away from home. If your looking to visit Homer and want a quality place to stay or maybe dip your toes in to the tiny house experience, look no further.

  • This is a really nice spot to listen to all the sounds of the Homer Spit. It is clean, ingeniously designed, and close to everything on the Spit. For an Alaskan, it is all the basic elements: heat, running water, and clean linens.

    Jamie2018-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Easy communication, great location, great value. Lisa's place was exactly what my wife and I were looking for!

  • Lisa Marie’s apartment is perfect and has everything we wanted and needed. It’s centrally located, walking distance to restaurants, shops and most important, The Salty Dog! She couldn’t have been kinder or more communicative! She even made us a reservation at a really great restaurant (Fresh Catch)! The apartment itself was super clean and had everything we needed. The view of the mountains and glaciers through every window was stunning! We will definitely stay here next time we are in town!

The cabin is close to town, nestled on 10 acres overlooking the head of the Beluga Slough. You’ll love my place because of the hand-hewn dove tailed logs, wild mushroom foraging, and privacy close to town. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

  • An amazingly well equipped and cosy cabin in a great location. You will not be disappointed staying here.

    Steve2018-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was beyond perfect!!! So glad we booked for 4 nights! Nantia is the nicest host you'll meet. Very accommodating and has thought of everything you could possibly need (muffins, croissants, cereal, milk, soy milk, ice cream to name a few). The cabin is cozy and the view is amazing, facing the mountains. It's really close to the spit as well (about 5 miles) but the cabin has everything you need if you prefer to stay in and cook! Our dogs had the best time as well with so much outdoor space to run around in! We would love to come back and stay in this cabin when we return to Homer!

  • I can't say enough about this place! The pictures don't do it justice and it was above and beyond what we were expecting. The breakfast items were wonderful to have. The view was AMAZING and idyllic. We didn't see any moose, but the view was worth it. The blackout curtains were VERY much appreciated with the long summer days. I would definitely recommend this bnb to anyone looking to visit Homer. It is secluded, but a quick drive to the spit and everywhere else you would like to go.

    Kristi2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful secluded cabin perfect for a family stay. Thoughtful host filled the bird feeder and provided some breakfast foods to welcome us - very nice touches! Highly recommended.

  • Nantia's place was AMAZING! I visit Homer several times a year, and this place has been my favorite BY FAR! We got rained out on our camping trip, and booked this place spur of the moment. They allow dogs, which was a big plus for us. The cabin is gorgeous, centrally located, but you would never realize it! Very private feeling, great views, charming interior, and overall lovely place to stay. It was clean, and Nantia provided muffins and croissants, juice, granola, teas, and coffee! My partner and I cooked our own dinner, started a fire in the cute fire place, enjoyed the cabin, and overall LOVED our stay. We will definitely be back! Thanks Nantia!

    Jessica2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Just WOW. The cabin is perfect and lovely, with a quiet location into the woods and a wonderful view. Everything was clean, breakfast was ready for the morning and the fireplace was prepared... what a cosy atmosphere ! I spent one of my favourite times there.. enjoying a kind of "Alaskan way of life" ☺ I surely recommend this place for a true nature experience into the wild. Thank you Nantia.

Enjoy plenty of natural light in your clean, quiet private master suite. Conveniently located just 2 miles from down town Homer, enjoy a country feel, with all the comforts of home. Your private room with adjoining private bath, has a cozy queen sized bed, large walk-in shower, spacious walk in closet AND blackout shades for our long summer days. Find your way around our fully equipped, open kitchen, relax in the common area living room or soak up some sun on our HUGE deck.
The master suite is located on the upper level of our home ( up 13 stairs) with two more stairs going down from the bedroom to the adjoining bathroom. (The bedroom and bathroom are private and attached. No real need to ever leave your room if you don't want to.) There is a coffee/tea station located right inside your room, though you are welcome to use all appliances and provided fresh ground coffee, in the full, shared kitchen. Each window has a pull down fabric blind. The two windows in the bedroom have additional blackout curtains to help you sleep soundly even when it STILL light out!
We live on a short, dead end road and homes are built on large lots, so there is not too much traffic. The Homer Bike path, which is wonderful for walking, biking or horseback riding, goes literally right past my house. It can take you all the way to the end of the Homer Spit, or out East for about 4 more miles. Beautiful hiking trails are with in a quaint 2 mile walk from my front door. There is a coffee drive thru, "Coops" just 1 mile east, A perfect walk or bike ride in the morning. "The Bagle Shop" is aprox. 2 miles east of us. DELICIOUS Bagles and coffee! Really great specials everyday and friendly staff.

    Marianne2018-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jeanie’s place was awesome. Beautiful master bedroom with a very comfy bed and quality linens, big shower with two heads, nice stylish space with everything you could possibly need. On top of a great space, Jeanie and her family were super accommodating and welcoming. I unexpectedly had to arrive super late due to poor planning (1:30 am!) and Jeanie was so kind about it and eased my stress! Her and her family gave us great stories and fabulous recommendations, and generally made us feel like part of the family. Will definitely be coming back to stay when in Homer. Thanks Jeanie!!

  • Staying at Jeanie's Place was a very positive experience for my wife and I. Homer is one of our favorite places in Alaska and Jeanie, her daughters and Sadie the wonder dog have now made Homer even more so! Coming 'home' to a place that is clean, comfortable and relaxing makes a vacation so much better and Jeanie's Place was more than we expected. We slept wonderfully , the room was bright, spacious and very private. The double head shower was heavenly with amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water making it easy to relax after a long day of touring. If you're heading to Homer, hopefully you will have the chance to stay in this incredibly pleasant home away from home!

It has: beautiful views, stylish decor, ample kitchen items, clean and new interior, out door seating, dog accessories, very comfortable beds etc. Kathy was easy to communicate with and always quick to answer questions. I would highly recommend this property.

We offer a charming one-room homesteader cabin on the bluff overlooking Kachemak Bay, about 4 miles from downtown Homer.
The view from the yard is the stunning Kachemak Bay view, a front row view of the tide ebbing and flooding, and the mountains and glaciers across the bay. You will walk down our lawn about 100 yards to get to the one-room cabin; it is tucked in some trees on the bluff. There's a pleasant outhouse, an indoor cold water sink, and an outdoor hot shower on the back deck. The shower is lovely on a sunny day, chilly in a breeze. There is a wood-burning stove for serious warming, also a small propane heater for taking off the chill during the summer. There's a small refrigerator, microwave, and an electric teapot to make hot water, a drip coffee set-up, some coffee, tea bags, and honey from my bees. The deck is spacious and very warm on a sunny day, and has a table and chairs. The east-facing porch has a bench for your morning coffee. There is a twin bed with another twin trundle that can be pulled out. The bed serves as a (tall and deep) couch too. There are black-out blinds available for the windows for the bright summer nights. There is a rugged trail to the beach for the adventurous, with a rope to help. The beach is little-used, so is peaceful, and a good place to walk. A driftwood fire could be made on the beach. There are extra blankets to take outside to lounge on the lawn, and a picnic table. A tent could be set up on the grass for another person or two.
Our waterfront lot faces beautiful Kachemak Bay with the mountains and glaciers across. About a half mile up the beach is the commercial boatyard, where you can sometimes see good-sized fishing boats get lifted in and out of the water. There is a fabulous bagel shop about 1/4 mile from here, with good coffee and the best bagels in Alaska.
Merci encore !

  • Jane was such a wonderful host! She was very kindhearted and welcoming! Her place was very clean, comfortable, and cute. The location to the beach is not far which was really nice, and it's close to everything. The view at her location is breathtaking. Really enjoyed our stay at her home! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in Homer!

    Veeken2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place. It would have been better with some type of electric heat. The wood stove warmed the place up but by morning it was cold.

    Jeff2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful peaceful oasis. The outdoor shower was a blast, and we didn't mind the outdoor toilet at all. The place is rejuvenating. Amazing views. Sigh.

    Jean2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jane’s little cabin is nestled on the edge of a bluff, overlooking Kachemak Bay and the town of Homer. The view out the window is incredible...with glaciers and snow capped mountains in the distance. Don’t let the outdoor shower deter you...plenty of privacy and the water was warm. I took an outdoor shower with morning temperatures in the low-40s. The special touches like the cast iron woodstove, coffee, tea, honey from Jane’s bees...all added to the experience. Add to this, a super-comfy bed...and this place is a treasure. I’ll definitely be returning. Thanks Jane...for sharing you little piece of heaven!

The small one room cabin has a full mattress in the loft , and a captain's bunk below, with linens and towels provided. Kitchenette has basic cookware, a fridge, a cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishes. Sit on the porch outside with your morning coffee and watch the animals graze in the pasture. Songbirds love Seaside, they are abundant here and sing all around the cabin. Ask about our farm fresh eggs! In August pick raspberries right outside your door! Theres a tiny little outhouse right behind the cabin for your personal use, as well as the lodge bathroom and shower facilities right across the yard.
Seaside Farm is the oldest working farm in Homer, since the 1940's. Our 30 acre farm is surrounded by nice neighborhoods and there is a sushi restaurant, Wasabi's, just up the driveway! We are right on the beach, amidst fields and lush woods, with a panoramic view of the mountains and glaciers, and the entire Kachemak Bay.
  • If you are looking for a truly rustic Alaskan experience with killer views and an amazing beach, book this place! We have stayed here three times and obviously keep coming back for good reasons. Don't expect anything fancy, but you can expect really great hands-on hospitality from Mossy.

The full kitchen (minus running water) was great and the cabin was warm with the provided heater. The proximity to the main house was handy for getting water and using the showers. My two boys loved the loft area and seeing cows in their field right next door.

Enjoy a scenic stay at our quiet cabin a few miles from town and minutes from the airport and the bustling Homer Spit. Soak in the view of Grewingk Glacier and the surrounding mountains across Kachemak Bay from the deck while using the grill to sear up your freshly caught salmon dinner! • Overall, our stay was nothing short of expected--studio cabin on the hills of Homer with spectacular views. This is a great place to just spend the night, but not necessarily hangout in. It's a small one room cabin with 3 beds squeezed into small area. The cabin was very clean and stocked with towels, microwave, full fridge, oven, cooktop. The beds are comfortable, but very squeaky (may not be good for light sleepers). Our stay was in July; the cabin gets very hot with only one fan and screened window, no AC. There is a TV, but it is placed in the kitchen on top of a cupboard far away from beds (no point of turning on). I know no one is going to Homer to watch TV, but it would be difficult to watch even if wanted to. Like I said, overall our stay was good. I recommend for a nights rest after long day of fishing/hiking/paddling.

Welcome to Homer! Your Studio vacation rental is extremely private, has one of the best views across the bay and is just a short drive off East End Road.
Inside: -Quaint space with a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, cafe table and chairs, pull out sofa, queen size bed and open armoire-type clothing rack. -Because the space is only listed as a studio, the kitchenette is limited. There is a microwave, mini fridge, tea kettle, Keurig and small breakfast amenities. There are also paper dishes and plastic cutlery. -We've provided breakfast items, such as coffee and tea pods for the Keurig, protein/granola bars and oatmeal. Outside: -Porch with patio furniture -Plenty of woodsy hiking, the forest is extra green and lush this time of the year
The house is secluded, but the road to the home is beautiful, surrounded by hay and flower fields. A quick bike ride or drive back to East End and you will be extremely close to eateries such as Wasabis (amazing sushi and craft cocktails), The Bagel Shop (you'll never try a better house made bagel with salmon cream cheese than you will here) and Stowaway Cafe (Best coffee in town, serving Alaska famous Kaladi Brothers Coffee).
  • I am quite smitten with Lynsey’s space. The directions were clear—the space was clean—the view was incredible. I liked that we were a bit out of the hustle of the spit. Next time I’m in Homer, there’s no doubt I’d want to stay here a second time.

  • This cute cozy cabin is exactly as it is pictured. It is almost at the top of a hill so the views of the ocean are spectacular. It's quiet and remote, but close enough to Homer that it's really only a few minute drive away. It's a beautiful place to stay for a couple of quiet nights retreat.

  • Myra was so accommodating throughout my 8 week stay at her home! Always so helpful and the place was very quiet and relaxing. She made great recommendations about food and adventure companies around town. She really went above and beyond what I expected of a host! It was an amazing experience and I would never hesitate to stay again! Absolutely great!

  • Myra is an absolutely wonderful person and her place is absolutely perfect for the lone traveler! The room was comfortable and dark so I could sleep without being worried about the long Alaska summers and she provided everything that I needed to have a comfortable stay. She was also extremely helpful about places to go, restaurants to eat at, and fun things to do around town. I love chatting with her and I was so very grateful for all of her advice and conversation - I absolutely plan on staying here again when I come back!

    Young-Eun2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sharing Myra's place was a great way to understand a little bit better those true Alaskan's, apart from natives, who stay here even in winter. She was very nice and had nice stories to tell about the town and the area.

Perched as the highest cabin in Homer at 1575 ft, the Eagle & Condor solar powered dry cabin is a stunning perch overlooking the mountains, glaciers, volcanoes & ocean of Homer. A perfect retreat space for a single or couple, it's a dream space for writers, artists, outdoor enthusiasts & meditators with breathtaking views, deep silence, and access to a over 100 kilometers of trails right from your door! Though only 8 miles from downtown Homer its easily accessible and yet feels highly remote!
The dry 10x12 one room adorable log cabin ("dry" meaning no running water) is named after the Eagle and Condor Prophecy, a 2000 year old prophecy which speaks to uniting the peoples of North America (Eagle) with those of South America (Condor). When the Eagle of the North flies with the Condor of the South, it is said that the Spirit of the land and humanity will re-awaken. After touring over 20 countries touching a million people with our non -profit foundation's world peace 7ft Grandmother Drum, the vision of the cabin is to house indigenous Elders we have worked with around the world to now come to Alaska to share their cultural traditional knowledge and wisdom and healing practices that can restore our planet to its original dream of wholeness for all. Funds from your rental will be supporting the foundation's current fundraiser to bring indigenous Elders to Alaska in 2020 and beyond. Made with 95% repurposed materials, the Eagle and Condor Elders cabin was built in one year with so much love from 18 project volunteers and funded by 140 donors globally. The cabin is run on solar and shore power, has a trundle king (or two twins) with all bedding, towels, propane stove and heater, small refrigerator, extra cooler, sink, blender and coffee maker (coffee and tea available) and all cooking utensils etc. small table, chairs, and jugged water (you haul it from Homer town). There is a port-a potty in the cabin and use of an outhouse 100yds from the cabin on the land. In summer there is a private space to park your car next to the cabin. There is no shower facilities available, ( though available in Homer town) . For the more hearty, we do however provide a solar heated shower bag that can be used outside the cabin. There is no smoking, drugs, alcohol, parties or firearms permitted in the cabin or on the Whirling Rainbow Foundation premises. The cabin is just 15 minutes from downtown Homer yet located at the edge of the wilderness giving you instant access to hiking, birding, wildlife photography, fat and mountain biking, cross country and downhill skiing. meditating in the silence or simply gazing out the porthole window directly at Grace Ridge . If you are a writer, artist, photographer or meditator this is your dream retreat space! For a breathtaking wedding or special event location, ask us about the adjacent Whirling Rainbow Healing Center.
The Eagle and Condor Cabin is located in a private neighborhood where each owner has a 5 acre lot. As your hosts, Michaela and Suraj live at the adjacent Whirling Rainbow Center. Please respect the lands and homes around you and do not cut trees, bushes or wildflowers. Quiet times 10pm- 8am. The 100km of hiking and cross country ski trails are right across at your cabin door! Ohlson Mountain Road and Easterday Rd. are also fabulous for mountain or fat biking. We also have in winter, THE BEST Northern Lights viewing of anywhere in Homer! Our neighbors also include moose, wolves, weasels, cranes, eagles, hawks, bear and more. The adjacent Whirling Rainbow Center and Lookout Mt also have a huge array of wildflowers and birds. Our blueberry and raspberry patch is available for your late summer delight!
  • Suraj’s cabin was the perfect place for an Alaskan getaway! I wish we had more time to explore the area. The fireweed was absolutely beautiful. The property sits on a gorgeous mountain side surrounded by beauty and it was so quiet and had a healing quality for the soul that you can’t get down at the busy Homer spit. The cabin was very well equipped for the “glamping” my husband and I needed. Suraj was very very welcoming and we enjoyed every moment spent at the cabin. We will be back, and I look forward to explore more of the Alaskan mountain side the cabin is located on. We will be staying here again. Can’t recommend enough.

The panoramic view of Kachemak Bay from Turkington Estate's private 28 acres is one of the most breathtaking views you can experience while visiting Homer. Grewingk Glacier, Poots Peak, Gull Island, the Homer Spit and more; they're all visible!
Turkington Estate is part of the last remaining acres of Bob and Carolyn Turkington's original 360 Acre Farm. Turkington Estate's B&B was Bob and Carolyn's home which their eldest son, wife, children and grandchildren have converted into a rental for guests to experience this unique property. The home has been separated into an upstairs and downstairs unit. This listing is for the downstairs unit of the home which gives you over 1500 sq ft of living space. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, large living room and bonus room, full kitchen, dinning area, front patio and access to the front lawn right outside your door! Guests might enjoy going for a stroll around the property exploring the various flora that grows wild, picking a snack of wild raspberries from the raspberry patch in the late summer and fall, sit out on the deck and watch the sun set in the late summer evenings or read Carolyn's diary entries and view photos from the Turkington family's adventures to Alaska in Model A's from Connecticut 70 years ago. The Turkington's are 4th Generation Alaskans/Homerites and we love the last frontier. We're thrilled you stopped by our website to learn more about the Estate.
  • The Turkington Estate is absolutely perfect for a family. We wanted to rest with the option of activity and seeing wildlife and we had the best of all worlds. The accommodations were perfect and we lacked nothing. The hosts are very quick to communicate and respond and genuinely want it to be your best experience. Definitely a repeat!

    Jenn2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVE the Turkington Family place. The place has million dollar view. The view would just take your breath away. We enjoyed every moment during our stay. The place is very clean with a plenty of space. Joyce and Alan are wonderful hosts. We definitely will go back when visiting Alaska next time.

    Cindy2018-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely stay! The Turkington home is wonderful and comfortable! We were warmly greeted by Joyce upon arrival. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, and steeped in family and local history. It's a short drive of ~8 minutes to the Spit. And of course, the view can't be beat! We would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Homer!

    Elaine2016-07-20T00:00:00Z

  • We could not have been happier at the Turkington Estate! The house was perfect, the view was a amazing and it was close to everything. However, the best part of our stay was the Turkington family. They were extremely friendly and made great suggestions. They truly made our stay memorable. Thank you!

    Scott2016-06-25T00:00:00Z

NEWLY REMODELED CABIN sleeps up to four with a brand new queen and two singles in loft accessible via steep wooden stairs. A brand new kitchenette with all amenities --stove, fridge, microwave, dishes, cooking utensils--including potable water in sink. Indoor bathrooms and showers are in main lodge just a short walk away. Has its own personal outdoor toilet, and charcoal bbq. A beautiful lawn lots of windows, and a covered porch to relax and view spectacular views of the farm, pastures, hayfields, Kachemak Bay and glacier filled mountains! Easily accessible, the Swallow House is surrounded by songbirds and is next to a ravine with a bubbling brook. We do allow some small dog breeds, under 20 lbs. only, based on past reviews and general willingness to keep them off beds, furniture, etc, and a promise to clean up after them. There is an additional $ 25 per pet fee
Seaside Farm is its own unique neighborhood, consisting of guest cabins, a big farm house serving as the central lodge and shower facility, some long term residents, a camping meadow, and a beautiful trail to the beach. We are also of course a farm, first and foremost, with hayfields, pastures, some corrals and farm buildings around the property. Located on the outskirts of Homer, right on the beach, and just off East End road in a very picturesque area.
  • Beautiful little cabin with everything you need, was able to cook dinner and relax to the sound of the rain outside

  • Lots of character, lovely host, great location. Amenities were a little basic but would recommend none the less

  • Absolutely would recommend Seaside Camp! Loved the accommodations and view!

    Ingrid2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Mossy's cabin the Swallow House is very well looked after and super cute. It's cozy and has all the basics for cooking a meal. Mossy and her husband brought us some charcoal and lighter fluid so we could use the BBQ. Communication was easy by telephone. The cabin is a short walk to the main lodge (closed during winter so no showers/toilet). We were able to meet the horses, and make a trail through the snow to the beach. It is a very nice and peaceful area. It is not as remote as we thought as there are neighbors nearby and the main road East End is nearby, but the positive of this was that Bear Creek Winery is just down the road! Thanks Mossy for a lovely stay.

    Grace2018-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • The Seaside Farm is a magical place The Swallow House was perfect for mom and adult daughter and had more amenities and touches than we expected of a cabin We enjoyed a wonderful view and a good nights sleep We hope to be back in the Fall!

Truly stay in the center of it all on the Homer Spit. Just out your door are the many shops, galleries and restaurants, yet in your beach side suite overlooking the beautiful vistas of Kachemak Bay, you’ll swear you are miles away. Conveniently located above Central Charters and Tours, across the street from the Homer harbor. The Deckhand Suite is our smallest suite, private, cozy, and inviting with a beautiful view.
Right across the street from the Homer harbor, easy access to everything on the Homer Spit. The Homer Spit is a bustling place in the summer, with a wide variety of things to see and do. Take off on a helicopter flight from the beach right out front, head across the bay to go hiking or kayaking, fish for halibut or just take in the sights and watch the fishermen come in and hang their catch right downstairs each afternoon. There are several wonderful restaurants within a few minutes walk in every direction.
  • We really enjoyed staying on the spit. Fun location a quick walk from plenty of bars and restaurants. It was fun seeing the fishing charters come back and measure up their catch of the day!

    Elliott2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The room was perfect for my needs, and had a beautiful view of the spit amidst all the popular shops, charter businesses, and restaurants. The room was very clean, and the check-in process was very easy. The ladies at the front desk, Molly in particular, was very helpful and had answers to all my questions. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a room on the Homer Spit!

    Meaghan2019-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Well had the absolute best time in Homer and loved our stay with Central! While we were scarcely in doors due to all the activities in the area, our room had everything we would have need for an extended stay. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We went halibut fishing and bear-viewing in Katmai via float plane while in Homer; Central set us up for both excursions and did a tremendous job. Staying out on the Spit is a treat in and of itself. If you are sensitive to light and traveling during the summer, you may wish to pack an eye mask. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this spot enough!

    Margo2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful view, right on the spit! Close to our favorite restaurant and shops! Can't wait to come back for another stay!!

    Michelle2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • I just can’t make enough positive comments about this place. The communication prior to arriving was very prompt, and check-in was very simple. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a nice stay. The views from the place are spectacular and the windows even open to the beach. It is very central to many restaurants and shops on the Homer Spit. We were only in Homer for one night, but I really would have been happy to spend another couple days. It was not a problem for us, but if you are booking, be aware that there are fairly steep steps leading up to the room. But nothing negative about it....we loved it!!

    Tanya2018-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location and views. Outside was very busy but you could barely hear anything while inside.

    Clint2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Magnificent view, cozy and clean room. Easy to check in. Excellent location.

    Crystal2017-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay! What an amazing little room with a ridiculously gorgeous view. Perfect for a low key weekend in Homer when you want to trade your tent for a place with a shower but don’t want to sacrifice the view! Waking up to sunshine and the sound of the ocean was wonderful—I hope to stay here again!

  • Stay here if you can! Raspberry Hill is full of thoughtful touches. We may have even enjoyed some homemade cookies on the covered porch while we took in the view of Kachemak Bay. Saturday morning we were greeted by hummingbirds and robins visiting the raspberry patch. My daughter was thrilled to find a handful of early berries that were ripe. Great yard for her to run around. WiFi made my husband happy. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. Kim was an excellent host.

  • Michael and Carol were amazing hosts! So friendly and they did an amazing job on their house making very inviting and elegant. It was our favorite place to stay in Homer and just about 8 minutes or so from the entrance of the Spit! They made us breakfast and were very helpful with suggestions!! One thing we also appreciated was how incredibly clean and well maintained the space was! And a private heater for our room! We became friends and we hope to see them when they visit Hawaii! We hope to stay here again when we return to Homer!
