This small apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed, separate desk/work area, full kitchen, and full bath. We live on the first floor and rent three apartments upstairs. Two blocks from shops, restaurants, bakeries, art museum, and brewery. Dogs are allowed, but no cats. We love cats, but have had problems with spraying.
Soma (south Main) is a GREAT neighborhood close to everything! We're just 10 minutes from the airport, hospitals, the Rivermarket district, Verizon Arena, the river trails, great midtown neighborhoods, the convention center, the baseball park, and lots more. Soma's offerings continue to grow. Rocktown Distillery, Core Brewing, Community Bakery, Raduno, South on Main, Root Cafe, Loblolly Creamery, Boulevard Bread, Bark Bar, Larry's Pizza (weekdays), Stone's Throw Brewery, and more are all within short walking distance (2-5 blocks). There's a Walgreens and Edwards Food Giant just three blocks away. Other eats and drinks close by include Cathead's Diner, Rebel Kettle, Samantha's Tap Room, Bruno's Italian, Soul Fish Cafe, Sim's BBQ, Three Fold, Wasabi, 109 & Co., The Lobby Bar, Vino's, Ciao, Forty-Two (in the Clinton Library), Heifer Int'l Cafe (and check out their urban farm!), and more I'm forgetting. MacArthur Military Museum and Park and the Arkansas Arts Center are just a few blocks from the house, and the Arts Center is free. Also, don't forget the Central High School National Park and Museum. Drive straight west on Daisy Bates (14th St.) about a mile and you'll run right into it. Central is a beautiful school, and if you don't know its history and place in civil rights, you must visit and learn. For outdoor fun, Pinnacle Mountain is west of town and provides great hikes. There's the "front side" and "back side" of Pinnacle. The back side is steeper and involves climbing up boulders. We think that side is more fun, but both are great, and a great workout. We ride our bikes frequently and use both the North Little Rock and Little Rock sides of the River Trail. It's so beautiful! You can do the whole loop, which is about 17 miles from our front door and back. Or you can drive to Murray Park or NLR Riverfront Park and ride from there. If you want to walk, head to Murray Park and the Big Dam Bridge, or a little farther west to Two Rivers Park, where we always see at least 40 deer along the trail. All trails are paved. We have camp chairs, umbrellas, coolers, reusable shopping bags, etc. if you want to use any of them. Just let us know. The Soma area is very safe, although if you leave something valuable in your car overnight, you may lose it overnight. Nights are also relatively safe. There is a homeless community downtown, but we haven't had any problems. Women should always be aware of their surroundings at night (this is true everywhere, unfortunately), but we certainly walk around the neighborhood at night to stroll, eat, drink, etc. The "Designing Women" house is right around the corner at 1321 Scott. There is so much to do and see in Little Rock! Ask us if we haven't caught your interest in any of the above and we'll provide other suggestions.
SOMA (South Main) is a vibrant, historic, and arty neighborhood. Within two blocks are a one-of-a-kind purse museum and store (ESSE), organic restaurant (Root Cafe), Green Corner Store, Loblolly Ice Cream (local delicious), two bakeries/cafes (Community Bakery and Boulevard Bakery), Rocktown Distillery (fun tours and great bourbon!), antique stores, pizza joint (Raduno), late night bar (Midtown Billiards stays open until 5 a.m.), southern cuisine and music venue (South on Main), the Oxford American Magazine offices and art space, printing and jewelry space (Electric Ghost), an escape room (all the rage, apparently), farmer's market (in a sculpture garden--Bernice Garden), and less than one block from Villa Marre, which is "the Designing Women House." We're also walking distance to microbrewery Stone's Throw Brewing, the Arkansas Arts Center, dog park, MacArthur Park and Military Museum, Walgreen's, grocery store, and plenty of other stuff to keep you busy, stocked, and well-fed. The River Market district has a lot of restaurants, bars, public library, parks, the Clinton Library and School of Public Service (great speakers series and events). We are five minutes from Lost Forty Brewhouse, Rebel Kettle Brewing Co. The Arkansas Travelers are our AA baseball team (Anaheim). Dickey Stevens Park is just across the river in North Little Rock. NLR has a great neighborhood of bars, restaurants, and galleries called Argenta. That's also where you can find Verizon Arena.

  • Loved staying here- it is quiet the value and full of charm. The apartment is the perfect size and have an eclectic vintage vibe. The neighborhood is up-and-coming and the little shops one can walk to mostly close early, but I liked the small town feel. Hosts were great, Stephanie replies promptly. Will definitely stay again.

  • Great stay in Little Rock with on site hosts. This studio is easy to find in a cute neighborhood, and set up by a couple that clearly knows what travelers need. Even on 98 degree days the en suite air conditioner kept the studio comfortable. Kitchen set up for basic cooking (thanks for the coffee!) if you wanted to cook, but I'm an eater and the Little Rock restaurant options were too good to pass up. It's a longish walk from the studio to downtown/Clinton Library tourist sites, but I had no trouble find parking anywhere on July 4 for those who would rather drive. Quiet charming place to stay in a quite charming city. I'll see you next visit!

  • This was a very cute little apartment with an excellent location. It was only a few blocks from some terrific, pup loving restaurants as well as a dog park. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. The apartment was private and comfortable.

  • Very quick response rate and very accommodating. Easy parking in a safe quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again if back in Little Rock. (2nd Night Stay) Apt 3 was a bit larger but both were amazing.

  • A great room with a lot of charm - fantastic bed and pillows. Stephanie is super helpful and her dogs are awesome.

This newly renovated apartment is located a few blocks from the South Main (SoMa) shopping district. Downtown LR and the River Market is just a short drive away. You will be comfortable, surrounded by modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable, 52" Roku-TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and premium channels included, front load Washer/Dryer, and stainless steal appliances.
This is an apartment in a small complex. It is on street level with off street parking. There is no assigned parking but there are more than enough spaces.
The South Main Shopping district is full of eclectic shops, restaurants, neighborhood bars, and a farmers market. It is a great place to stroll and see the sights. Stop in at Loblolly Creamery for some of the best an ice cream around.

This is a comfortable place to rest or work with unbelievably quick access to anywhere you want to go to or head towards in Little Rock. You'll have lots of private space including bedroom, bathroom and living room and anytime use of a shared kitchen and laundry room. It comes with good WiFi and plenty of parking both on and off street.
Our place is ideal for traveling nurses, residents and business people. You are incredibly close to hospitals, the SoMa district and the Downtown/River Market area.
The neighborhood is next to the SoMa or South Main area of Little Rock. It's one of our favorites and has undergone a lot of positive changes in the past decade. There are great restaurants, shops, coffee, art, local ice cream and the Bark Bar, a bar designed to bring your dogs along with.
  • Great hospitality and willingness to provide whatever I needed. For long term stay I personally was not comfortable with the neighborhood but I know it is up and coming. Needed a little cleaning when I first got there but it was a nice space. Jesi was a great host.

    Jeanie2018-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Pretty good spot in Little Rock. Just a couple blocks from the SOMA area with some fun restaurants, etc. Also no more than a mile to the core of Little Rock by the river. Should note the shared kitchen is open to this apartment, so the living room is not completely private.

Modern vintage retro style; simple, no-frills, clean and quiet. 2B/1BA apartment inside duplex that’s been converted from an 1896 Craftsman style home all to yourself! Centrally located, tastefully decorated, accessible, safe & clean. In the heart of SOMA, but with peace (and parking) of suburbia. Rest easy directly across from the Governor's Mansion grounds. Enjoy an off bedroom entrance, on-site washer/dryer, full kitchen, WiFi/TV/PS4/Hulu & Netflix.
The layout is pretty comfy in this old place. Quirky, eclectic and simple. Mix of original hardwood floors and modern tile that has the look of hardwood. Gray walls, crisp white trim. Considering the age of the house it’s got a great sized bathroom as well as kitchen, which is functional and simple with an updated subway tile backsplash and new stove/dishwasher. New queen & full Serta mattresses with washable protectors and fresh laundered linens. Keurig, Ninja blender, microwave & utensils at your disposal. I want you to feel at home so please, like I'd tell any of my friends, if you can see it you can use it! Steps up the front/back porch, otherwise single level. Exterior door in the back bedroom so - although not well lit - you've got private access in/out in addition to the main entrance through the living room! Free washer/dryer use.
The SOMA neighborhood is awesome! It's busy but quaint, accessible and quiet at the same time. Street fests happen often so you never know when there'll be cool stuff happening just a block or two over. The house sits directly across the street from the Governor's Mansion, specifically the security office so it's a very safe well-lit monitored area. You've got easy walking access to so many amenities: post office, grocery store, Walgreens, numerous restaurants (The Root, South on Main, Loblolly Ice Cream, Boulevard Bread, Raduno's Pizza, Community Bakery, Rocktown Distillery, Dos Rocas tacos, etc.), a great dive bar (Midtown Billiards) and a craft beer tasting room, Bernice Gardens, several eclectic shops (two antique stores, a bead store, Esse vintage purse museum, Green Corner Store, Moxy, Oxford American, etc). Best part is you're super close (>5 minute drive) to downtown, River Market, Little Rock Arts Center, Clinton Library, Heifer International, UAMS/Children's Hospital, Central High, MacArthur Park (among others) and freeway access. The airport is a very short & easy 10 minute drive.

The Carriage Home is a 570 square foot one bedroom one bath apartment with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Pets are welcome but count as guests, so $5 each. My wife and I just finished building the home in early 2017. We live just a block away and we very much love our revitalizing community! We are a very short walk away from MacArthur Park, Dog Park, Fishing Pond, Historic Museum and the Fine Arts Museum. Less than one mile from really great food, night life and the Governors Mansion.
At 570 sq feet this home would qualify as a Tiny Home, but its so room it really doesn't seem fair! full size couch, queen size bed, huge closet, nothing lost in the bathroom and certainly not in the kitchen. All the while providing a efficient space to do your laundry and keep your cleaning supply.
The name of our neighborhood is Pettaway, and Pettaway is the best neighborhood in the world!!! Our demographics are across the board, we literally live within a mile or two from two homeless shelters, but we also live less than a mile from the Governors mansion and homes that sold for over a million dollars just this year. The Carriage Home is across the street from a very respected school for early education, so you will likely see the locals walking their children to school. So if you appreciate diversity as we do, then you will love Pettaway!
  • Michael was an excellent host! Super quick communication and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in Little Rock in the future.

  • Maybe one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Very clean and well maintained. Also, very convenient to everything and close to some very good local restaurants.

    Brian2019-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place was immaculate! Super warm and inviting while being modern and up to date. Mike even took the time to give us some great dining suggestions. The location is unbeatable! Less than a mile from everything. Cant say enough good things about our stay.

  • My girlfriend, Holly, and I had a wonderful weekend in the carriage house. Sweet neighbors and an overall incredibly welcoming experience! Plan to revisit in the near future!

  • Booked this place at the last minute and it was beyond what I expected! Clean, comfortable and convenient. I will definitely be booking here again!

    Jay2017-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Michael’s place is in the perfect location! It’s close to SoMa ( Community Bakery is a must) and is situated across from a school in a very quiet neighborhood. Access to the interstate is nearby, so it’s easy to get to most anywhere! The Airbnb was spotless ( it even had a Roomba), and it provided everything a couple would need for a short ( or long) stay in Little Rock. It’s a new build— it still has that new home smell- and it was designed for comfort and functionality. The bed and couch were both very comfortable! Michael was clear and informative in his communication. Check in and out was super easy. I would definitely stay there again!

My charming, century old cottage is nestled on a corner in the heart of Little Rock’s thriving downtown. Two blocks from the Arkansas Arts Center and McArthur Park, walking distance from the popular River Market District and the ultra-hip SoMa neighborhood, right off I-630 and I-30, and minutes from the airport – you’ll be close to everything! We’ll both be sharing the home with a beautiful tortoise shell cat named Heka who likes people and pets.
Your private suite includes two rooms with a private entrance and side porch with a cute little outdoor sitting area. The bedroom has a comfy full sized bed, full length mirror, and room darkening blackout curtains for a great night’s sleep. TV has Roku with Netflix, Hulu, HBOGo, and Amazom Prime Video already logged in. Your suite also boasts a cozy sitting area, super cool writing desk, and convenient eating area with filtered water, tea, and coffee available. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower and is accessed through the common space but is reserved for your use only. Off-street driveway parking.
  • The space was even better than expected and in a great location. Her tortoise shellcat adopted us and made us feel welcome. Her space is warm, stylish, and inviting. It is the perfect sized space for a couple.

One bedroom apartment in Little Rock's SOMA district. Full, private apartment with one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen, and living room. We love the SoMa (South Main Street) District because of its cool shops, great coffee, and fantastic restaurants. You can take your dog for a playdate at the Bark Bar, try to Escape at Escape Little Rock, and find some new pretties at Phantom Palm Tropicals, all within walking distance!
Try Boulevard or Community Bakery for coffee and pastries, The Root is a MUST for breakfast or lunch, Loblolly for local ice cream, and Phantom Palm Tropicals for one of a kind gifts. The Bark Bar is great for taking your pup for dinner and a drink, and the Bernice Gardens always have fun events going on. There's even a purse museum nearby!
  • This location is within walking distance to a number of good restaurants. While in town we attended a minor league baseball game which was only 1 1/2 miles from the location. Walking/riding paths were awesome and very close by. Jesi was super responsive any time I had questions or needed something.

Hayward Garden Cottage is secluded with French doors leading to a private garden. No shared space, is pet friendly with complimentary breakfast. King bedroom has a corner fireplace, bath has a jetted tub for 2 and shower and there is a well furnished kitchen with garden view. Second sitting room is perfect for an office or sleeping baby. • We had an excellent week staying at Hayward cottage. The heating and cooling options worked out great, the jacuzzi tub was very nice, large warm soft bed, kitchen was just the right size, and the instructions were all very clear. Perfect little cottage for my first big vacation with my girlfriend.

While several homes from the 1840’s to the 1860’s still survive, today the area is a mix of residential units, offices, and commercial space. MacArthur Park’s 39 acres serve as the nucleus of the neighborhood and historic district bearing its name. Home to the Hostel, Arkansas Arts Center, and the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, the park also has outdoor facilities including brick promenades, a pavilion, Foster Pond, a bocce court, and the scenic Contemplation Gardens. The history embodied in MacArthur Park Historic District’s structures, the rich variety and distinctiveness of its architecture, the lush green open spaces, the tree-lined streets, the human scale, and the visual continuity combine to make the historic district truly remarkable.
  • Exactly as described! Spotless clean!!!!! Check-in was easy and quick. Over all, no complaints!

  • I've never stayed in a hostel before but this was a good experience! My only thoughts of a hostel came from movies where Americans get killed. This place wasn't scary at all. The hosts are all really well informed of the history of the building and happy to help. The place had everything you needed and I was really surprised they offer free all you can eat breakfast. My only complaint is that lights out was not when "lights out" was supposed to be, so there was a really bright light from the hall shining into the women's dorm. Other than that it was great.

  • My stay at the Little Rock Firehouse Museum was comfortable. The place is run by volunteers who are always ready to help. The rooms are clean and provided with all the basic amenities. Overall my experience was quite satisfactory.

  • The host was incredibly nice and gave me a lot of information.

  • Really cool unique place. Loved that it was an old fire station with the museum items downstairs. The place was spotless when I arrived. It was dorm-style room, but I was the only one in the room that night. The front desk people were very helpful and went out of their way to be courteous and give tips. Also, an added bonus was that the police station was right up the road, so I felt safe leaving all of my (tons of) stuff in my car during my road trip. Very nice neighborhood. Good value - I'd stay here again.

  • Wonderful, comfortable, and clean space for travelers. Located near a beautiful park. Appreciated the use of kitchen, laundry, and hot showers. Bring your own shampoo / soap. Would definitely recommend.

  • Had a great stay here! Everything is as advertised. Very accommodating to late check in and change of dates. Free breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and the location is great- close to lively parts of town, museums, and the Clinton Library. Definitely would stay again.

  • I booked the cottage for my best friend, whose son was in Arkansas's children hospital. The owner agree to give me a medical flat rate. On the 2nd day I happened to be at a baseball game and was unable to answer my phone while the owner sent lots of text wanting to know if they needed to stay another night and how important it was to contact her and it could not wait (she was very rude). I brushed it off since I know interpretations can be taken wrong thur text. At that time I was unaware if they had received notification from the Ronald McDonald House to be able to stay there instead of the Cottage. After finding out they did not get into the Ronald McDonald House I message the owner to stay another night for them. She told me to book the cottage through air BNB and that she would change the rate after that was done just like the previous day. Then she told me that it would be cheaper if I paid her directly after I had already booked through air BNB. I did not know the air BNB was still going to charge me, I was under the interpretation that she would cancel it although that was not the case. I was charged twice. Once from air BNB and once from her personal. The next day they did not get into the Ronald McDonald House again and another friend was going to pay for them to stay another night. Susan told them that I paid for 2 nights and that they would have to get with me to pay me back. I was unaware that I had been charged twice at this time period. I then requested only the money back that would have made it the same rate as the 1st Night they stayed. She denied my refund stating that was never agreed upon even though I have text to prove this was agreed upon. This has been the worse Airbnb experience I have ever encountered. I can't believe a person would put this upon me after I was trying to help a friend in a devastating situation. On top of everything she did not even tell me I was charged twice. She did not communicate with me about the overpayment and if they would have got into Ronald McDonald house the 2nd day, I believe she probably would have denied a complete refund. I am not a hard person to get along with and was very grateful she offered a medical discount but I am a person that believes people should honor their word. I honestly am in disbelief that am having to write a bad review on a stay that was gifted to a friends in a devastating situation. I have read thur Susan's other reviews and it seems I'm not the only one that has had a bad experience. And i'm baffled at her responses to the bad reviews, throwing blame on anyone but herself and making the guest look like they were "needy" or "over the top". This is very unprofessional and I can only imagine what her response will be to this review.

  • We had a wonderful date night. Went to a concert and stayed here at the cottage instead of a hotel. We had a great experience

  • Great waffles left for us for breakfast, comfy bed, and the robes in the bathroom were such a nice touch! We loved the location. It was a little hard to cool down the place, but that could be expected in a historic home on a hot summer day! We will stay here again.

    Pip2018-08-04T00:00:00Z

  • Susan’s place is gorgeous and cozy! The bed was fabulously comfortable and we loved the enormous tub. We would stay there again in a heartbeat

    Katie2018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place in a sweet little neighborhood. Meet a few neighbors while walking the dog. Wi-Fi was a little spotty but the soaking tub made up for it. Thanks for all the road worthy snacks!

    Ry2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • If only there was a section for "Environmental Health". One entire panel of the dishware cabinet was covered in mold. Hair in sheets (not mine). The bathroom floors were unsealed wood, which is a code violation in most states and was buckling around the tub area. The gas pilot remained on in the fireplace in proximity to sleeping quarters, (which made me nervous). The window sills were filthy and the whole place smelled musty. Stained seating furniture. My worst airbnb experience to date. Fortunately one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch and I have had two wonderful experiences since Little Rock.

Firefighter news and stories and even tools and random artifacts scattered everywhere. The upstairs rooms and showers were very organize and clean. Location is a great middle point to explore Little Rock. Great hostess

  • My 19 year old son was traveling alone. He had gone to Arkansas for a college football camp. He was not able to get on the last flight of the day. Most hotels will not accept anyone under 21 years of age. But But Little Rock Firehouse Hostel did. It is super close to the airport. They are great people. It is clean and comfortable. Everything went great. I highly recommend them for anyone that is looking for a place to stay.

The romantic queen bedroom and sitting area has a screen door that opens to your balcony overlooking the garden, a radiant heat stove for warmth and charm, jetted tub for two with hand-held shower, kitchenette, WiFi, cable, easy self check-in and off-street parking. Walking distance to SoMa District; minutes from the River Market.
  • Charming place, and very comfortable. Very private and easy arrival for a weary traveler. Wished I had the time to enjoy it more...huge jacuzzi tub, the lovely garden area etc. Just a few blocks away from some great stuff like MacArthur Park, Boulevards Coffee Shop & Bakery, and the area around it. Didn't have time to explore as just passing through, but drove by enough to see that it would have been fun. Really appreciated such a nice place to stay while traveling with my dog! Highly recommend.

  • Donna and WB are fantastic host! Travelling from Australia, the 1882 Carriage House felt like "my home, away from home" ! Upon my arrival, WB greeted me and helped with my luggage, I opened the door and immediately knew I would be happy! Donna had organised gluten free goodies and a beautiful salad for my dietary needs. Luxury! after flying for 24 hours. My mother stayed with me for an enjoyable two week holiday, the 1882 Carriage House accommodated our every need with two bedroom set-up located upstairs, perfect kitchen and lounge downstairs with a coffee machine, I loved! The living area so comfortable to relax in or spend the morning’s in the courtyard sipping coffee. SOMA - the perfect location to many of my favourite Little Rock places - The Arkansas Arts Center, Main street with local eateries SOMA, Roots and homemade ice cream from The Green Store, just to name a few. But - the biggest bonus for me was "The Bear", a beautiful silkie terrier, who became my adopted doggie during my stay. I left the doggie door open hoping he would spend the night with me… and he did for a couple of nights! His visits were always a highlight and such a joy! I rate the Carriage House and its host a 10 out of 10!… better than a hotel! I plan on returning making Donna, WB and ‘The Bear’ part of my Arkansas Family experience (Website hidden by Airbnb)

  • This is the second year that we have rented the Carriage House. We were so pleased and comfortable last year and the house seemed to have every amenity that one could need. We expected the same this year. But Donna seems to have made this property even better when we didn't think there was any way it could be better. She has added even more thoughtful amenities and little touches here and there that just make your stay more enjoyable. We wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else when in Little Rock. Mark

  • What a great turn out! The patio was amazing.. The house was perfect for me and my family. Donna even set up another queen bed for us downstairs which was very comfortable! The house was very welcoming and inviting. We brought a smoker and smoked some meat for a family event which turned out great. I would recommend staying here if ever visiting Little Rock! Oh and I can't forget about " the bear" ! What a special treat to spend time playing with that cutie. Thanks for everything Donna!

  • My experience was great. I was looking for a place with more space than a hotel. Ive gotten so tired of staying at hotels over the years and this was such a breathe of fresh air. The property met those needs and more, the pictures don't do it justice. Centrally located for all my business travel needs and plenty of dining options in the downtown area. The courtyard was very tranquil and paired with the rest of the wonderful timeless facility its a definite place to stay! Thank you.

Great apartment in downtown Little Rock. Walking distance to the SoMa (South Main Street) district where you will find coffee shops, great restaurants, boutique shops, and entertainment venues.
This is basically two apartments with a shared laundry and kitchen in between. Each side has a living room, dining area, bedroom and private full bathroom. The laundry has a full size washer and dryer and the kitchen is fully outfitted.
The apartment is a two block walk to one of our favorite areas, SoMa. Here you can enjoy all local favorites and grab coffee and a bagel at Community Bakery, lunch at The Root Cafe and Boulevard Bread Company, dinner at South on Main restaurant, dessert at Loblolly Creamery and a late night drink at the legendary Midtown Billiards. There is also boutique shopping and our friends own a store front screen print shop and plant lab called Electric Ghost.

  • I stayed over Thanksgiving holiday visiting family. The space worked out great for me and my 6yo son. I liked the extra bedroom so he could go to bed at a reasonable time and I could stay up to enjoy some time to wind down. Because we had the entire unit, the bedroom was far enough away so that my late night movie watching didn’t bother my son. The listing is exactly as advertised. Jesi and James has some thoughtful touches (I.E. shampoo/conditioner l, body wash, Keurig, tv options). Reading a couple of the other reviews I was anxious about other guest statements about walls being thin, we did not have that issue. Jesi and James were very responsive with any questions that I had before, during and after my stay. The check-in process was extremely easy and I appreciated that tremendously. The unit is a stones throw from the South Main and downtown areas. I noticed the area appears to be regentrifying. I walked my dog and didn’t feel that my safety was threaten at anytime. We will definitely stay here again if available during our next visit to Little Rock.

  • This is a great space if you need to attend downtown Little Rock events. It is significantly cheaper than downtown hotels and just as a convenient. It was a 5 minute walk to Community Bakery, 15 minute walk to Samantha’s (restaurant), and 20 minute walk to the Convention Center. (It’s even convenient for quick highway access if you want to head to other areas d the city.) The neighborhood was quiet and safe; check-in was so easy, which we really appreciated because we arrived around 11pm. The space worked great for three colleagues and could work well for two couples or two small families with how it’s set up — two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two living spaces. Jesi was responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure all went well. Definitely consider this one!

Great apartment in downtown Little Rock. Walking distance to the SoMa district where you will find coffee shops, great restaurants, boutique shops, and entertainment venues. This listing features one bedroom with en suite bathroom, living room, and shared kitchen and laundry room.
This listing features a private bedroom and bathroom, semi-private living room (each bedroom has its own living room, but a shared front door), and a shared kitchen and laundry room. The shared areas are in the middle and either side has it's own living room, bedroom and bathroom.
  • Two blocks from the action at South Main. Great communication.

  • Great value and fantastic location to walk to SoMa neighborhood. Jesi and James have a professional setup, checkin and all else was very smooth. Great experience!

  • A great location and the perfect amount of space for an extended stay! Great hosts and nice neighbors

  • This place was awesome! This has by far been the best semi-private setup I've stayed in thus far in my travels. It felt more private than what you would imagine. The only thing that is really shared is the kitchen and laundry room; setup in a way that no one has to walk through your living quarters. This place is ideal for long-term stays. It's readily setup with all the necessary supplies including extra linens and towels. Location is great with very easy highway access and sits only a couple blocks over from some of the best cafes and restaurants in Little Rock. I'd stay here again!

  • I stayed at Jesi's place for about two months while in town for work. The place had everything I needed and she was always extremely fast to respond to messages.

  • This was a great place to stay. Location was a short distance from downtown. We stayed the night here so we could go out and Uber here for the night. Check in was self guided and very easy. The apartment was clean and quite. I enjoyed the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of everything in the apartment. The hosts were very nice and responsive. They checked in via message several times to see if we needed anything or had any questions. They were not picky at all and made check out a breeze.

    Nicholas2017-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • There were pros and cons for this stay. Great location and cheap, but you get what you pay for. There was lots dog hair, it hadn't been vacuumed properly, and strange food stains on bedroom walls and lots of stains in bedroom carpets. Good kitchen for cooking and needed utensils. Nice living room areas, couches, and TVs.

  • We had such an enjoyable night in the Treetop Cottage. The balcony is lovely with wicker chairs and a beautiful canopy of trees. After a day in the car, it was incredibly relaxing to sit out there and read. The inside of the cottage is just as lovely with a huge, comfortable bed, cute kitchen, and wonderful jet tub. Susan even has two cozy robes and the option to make waffles and sausage in the morning. The cottage is also in a fantastic location, with a great restaurant and ice cream shop within walking distance.

  • This little House is a jewel. It’s defiantly loaded with flat screen TVs and state of the art alarm system. If your into technology this house has full speaker sound in every room. The tall ceilings are the best part. When your over 6 feet tall this is a plus. Just really can’t say enough about this place. Felt super safe and had a blast.

  • Wills place was amazing! The space looks better in person and it's in a perfect location. It's close to the downtown area but is also very quiet. There is a really cute breakfast restaurant a block away that was perfect for the weekend. The house itself was so clean and well decorated. We loved it!

  • The Drummond House was amazing. A true gem if you ask me. Will made our one night stay very comfortable. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate. I cannot think of anything I would have done differently myself. We were in town for an event at the Verizon Arena and the Drummond House is a quick Uber ride away. We will stay here for sure next time we are in town.

  • Wow! This home couldn’t have been any better! It’s absolutely stunning and so comfortable. Wonderful amenities and such attention to detail, we felt pampered our entire stay! Great location and within walking distance to some fun shops and restaurants. Great communication with the host as well. We will definitely be back!

    Mark2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house is beautifully renovated, and Will provided everything we could need and more. In addition to bottled water, orange juice and oranges in the refrigerator, there were snacks, mints, and toiletries (I took the new toothbrush, as I had forgotten mine). Will met us when we arrived and explained everything. We walked to dinner and the ice cream store nearby, and later sampled both of the excellent bakeries. In the mornings we enjoyed our coffee in the sun room, watching the squirrels outside. We didn't want to leave!

    Sarah2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home in a great, walkable neighborhood! Will is a great host and thought of everything from snacks to forgotten toiletries, and the interior design is delightful.

This small apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, chair, dresser, TV, full kitchen, and a full but tiny bathroom. We live on the first floor and there are three apartments upstairs, including this one. Two blocks from shops, restaurants, bakeries, art museum, distillery, and brewery. Dogs are allowed, but no cats. We love cats, but have had problems with spraying.
Everyone enters through the front door into a common foyer, but each apartment is private and self-contained. This apartment is upstairs. Laundry is in the basement, which is accessed from the backyard.
The "Designing Women" house is right around the corner at 1321 Scott (and it's for sale!). There is so much to do and see in Little Rock! Ask us if we haven't caught your interest in any of the above and we'll provide other suggestions.
  • Clean and quiet place. Close to downtown. Great host.

  • Stephanie's place was perfect for my night in Little Rock. I was on a road trip with my sister and we had not originally planned on stopping in Little Rock, but I'm so glad we did! Stephanie was prompt and communicative and was able to accommodate my request at late notice. The apartment is in a great location and has everything you could need for a short stay. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We greatly appreciated our night at Stephanie's place and would gladly stay again.

  • Great location. Only about 10 minutes away from the Clinton Library and Museum, and 5 minutes away from the Central Little Rock High School visitors center. There’s a dog park nearby if you bring your pet and plenty of food options within walking distance or a short drive away. The apartment itself is small, but great for one or two people and still a much better value than a hotel.

    Helena2019-05-27T00:00:00Z

  • Stephanie’s place is amazing! I stayed in both apartment #3 and #4. If you’re traveling with someone else I’d recommend #4 as the bed is bigger, but otherwise it’s a perfect stay and I highly recommend booking her place. Quiet, comfortable, safe, and feels like a true home away from home. :)

It is the first international hostel in Arkansas and is managed by Hostelling Arkansas, Inc., a nonprofit which has been working to preserve and renovate the building since 2006 through a creative partnership with the City of Little Rock which owns the building. All beds are twin-size bunk beds. HI Little Rock Firehouse Hostel & Museum is a contributing structure within historic MacArthur Park, Little Rock's oldest city park which is located within the Quapaw Quarter and the MacArthur Park Historic District. Encompassing about fifty square blocks, the MacArthur Park Neighborhood was Little Rock’s first neighborhood. Structures in the MacArthur Park Historic District range from simple residential cottages to formal, high style mansions, to historic churches, and schools. The history embodied in MacArthur Park Historic District’s structures, the rich variety and distinctiveness of its architecture, the lush green open spaces, the tree-lined streets, the human scale, and the visual continuity combine to make the historic district truly remarkable.
  • The location of the hostel isn’t too far from the main area, if you enjoy walking like me. The space itself is clean & well kept. We stayed at the room next to the desk which was a bit loud early in the morning, which wasn’t too much of a hassle for our group since we were early risers. Just beware if you stay there the quiet hours are honored but anything outside of that you will hear everything in the common area. The host was super nice & offered great tips on the area. Overall it’s good place to stay as a stop over.

We will be back for sure. :-)

  • Such a great original home, so if you have to have everything new don't judge as they are pretty clear this is an older home. Creaky floors and all, it is fantastic and although it is pet friendly, it is super clean! Close to stores and restaurants and I was always able to park right in front of the home. Super easy check in and access and great communication from the hosts. There is a spacious desk area with a power strip for those of us who are here on work and need a space to setup a desk. I wouldn't change a thing.

  • Tiny House is convenient if you plan to stay in Little Rock for a few days, as it is very homelike and comfy. It’s very nice and modern on the inside. Also pretty close to downtown River Market. My only issue was there was animal fur in the house, not sure if it was from a previous visitor or if the owners allow their animals in there. But my sister was allergic to the animal fur and you never know who is, but that was our only issue. Other than that, an overall amazing stay!!

  • Cute, clean, tidy and cozy tiny home. Well kept and surprisingly modern. Hosts are friendly and responsive. Impressive little kitchen. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it.

  • Wow this place really is tiny haha but in a cozy way. They definitely made the most of the space and we really enjoyed staying here. Thanks, Michael!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. Stayed for 5 days. The owner was amazing - great communication for arrival/departure, instant responses each time we texted him, very willing to recommend activities and restaurants, and he even let me borrow a belt since I left mine at home! The place was very clean and comfortable for two. The neighborhood is low traffic, which was nice. A short drive to downtown (I rode my bike downtown one day). Lots to do in Little Rock. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.

    Will2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED the tiny home! It was beautiful and absolutely spotless, and Mike always got back to my questions quickly.

    Sara2015-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Michael was super friendly throughout the whole process and was totally flexible with arrival time. That helped a lot with the stress of traveling and not worrying about running into traffic since we were driving. The Tiny Home was absolutely adorable and was a delightful place to stay. It definitely feels much larger than it looks and was comfortable for two guests. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the little details that help make a stay feel like home. We also enjoyed the neighborhood, which was just minutes from anywhere we needed to go. Would absolutely stay again if I'm ever back in Little Rock!

  • Great place to stay. Kind neighbors, comfortable home, fine city nearby. Very nice!

  • Very pleasant stay. And excellent hospitality.

  • Alright. The bathroom was gross, and sound travelled really easily, so it was a little noisy at night when people were talking in the lobby. Great location, walking distance to the river. Cheap

  • Great hospitality and accommodations! Friendly staff and great location.

  • The Firehouse Hostel is a super unique place to stay in Little Rock. The old firehouse is a cool location filled with interesting firefighting memorabilia. It's convenient to lots of interesting places in the area, so it's possible to go out for a nice dinner or a locally brewed beer without traveling too far (I recommend Stone's Throw!). I only stayed half the night since I was catching a late night train out of Little Rock, so I can't speak too much about how comfortable a longer stay would be but it was perfect for me.

  • Loved my stay! The Firehouse Hostel's convenient location is just a short walk away from numerous restaurants and bars; if you have trouble choosing, the more than helpful staff will let you know what the best choices are. Parking is plentiful and the surrounding park is beyond gorgeous. The keycard-only access is a very reassuring feature of the hostel. The only thing I could consider even close to a negative would be the twin size mattresses, but I'm quite tall at 6'5" and I imagine this not being an issue for most. Hope to stay again soon!

  • The Little Rock Firehouse hostel is a good spot! It’s very clean, and conveniently located to downtown. The faces that greet you–as well as stay with you overnight–are nice and hospitable. Both breakfast and coffee are provided in the morning, and the beds are quite comfortable. It’s certainly utilize them in the future for another stay in Little Rock!

  • Cheap and clean. Stayed one night in Little Rock and this place was the perfect place for a one-night place to crash. Decent location, near downtown (I had a $7 Uber from main hub downtown back to place) and two blocks from a cool little brewery. I was one of two people staying in entire building, so I can only comment on how accomodating the place is when empty (had entire room to myself), but the staff is very friendly and the property is newly remodeled (it appeared) and well maintained. Would stay here again.

  • I was one of the first 20 guests that stayed at the hostel, it's in a recently remodeled ire station which is really fun. The rooms are very clean and organized, the showers are as well. I would highlight the excellent service James, the night shift receptionist has provided. He is really thorough and helpful -- great hire! The only thing I would think about adjusting is the price, since $30+ is a little bit too much for a shared bedroom in a hostel but since it's a new entity, it's understandable. I recommend it overall.

  • The Firehouse is a great place to stay for your Little Rock visit. It’s conveniently located near downtown and the major highways. The dorm space and bathroom were very clean.

    Hayden2019-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, friendly staff. Located adjacent to a nice park with many attractions very close. safe neighborhood. Close to highways but not too close. Great place to stay.

    Dennis2016-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • My visit was pleasant and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and resourceful, and the place was clean and homey.

    Angela2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is interesting, clean, fun, and welcoming. The staff are great-- super friendly and gave me great suggestions for nearby food. Easy to find with an adjacent parking lot, on the edge of a gorgeous park with places to explore nearby. I was just in for the night but there's a communal kitchen for use and the key card access to both the main entrance but also your room makes everything secure but easy. Hip vibes, neat history, lovely accomodations. This place made me want to come back to stay longer next time!

Beautiful home in the very popular south of main district (SOMA) Restaurants and shops are all literally steps away! House has 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms. You can stay in and cook or go to the amazing restaurants that are all within walking distance. You are one block away from some of the best restaurants in the city. The Root Cafe, Raduno, South On Main, and many many more!
Our house is located in the heart of the booming SOMA district of downtown Little Rock.. There’s a huge loft room with a cozy king size bed a bathroom. There’s also a room with a queen size bed, also with its own bathroom. And another bedroom with two twin beds!
There are lots of great restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The river market is also just down the street. Across the river is the popular argenta neighborhood. It also has great bars and restaurants.. Please ask for any recommendations! We are foodies and know the area very well! Blocks away from Arkansas Children’s Hospital..
  • Abbie was great! She was very accommodating and answered all of the 1000 questions quickly! I would definitely recommend her gorgeous home to anyone traveling to Arkansas it is close to everything with many places to eat around.

  • It was a very nice stay and fast responses!

    Adam2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed in several AirBnbs and this is was the first time I stayed in a home that a family actively lives in so it was a little strange. pros: -Abbie is very nice and accommodating and easy to communicate with. -The house is very lovely, well cared for and clean. - It's in a great location, within walking distance to just about everything. cons: -It's not clearly stated that a family lives in the home. - My son is allergic to dogs and a dog lives in the house. Beware if you have a dog allergy. - Since the owner lives in the house, be aware that they can stop by to pick things up they may have forgotten to take with them. Overall, if you are ok with staying in someone's house that lives there, then by all means please rent the house. But if you're not ok with feeling a bit uncomfortable navigating through other people's personal belongings, then you should pass on this one. We rented the house for two nights and decided to pack up our belongings after the first night and head back to Dallas after my son's ATA tournament.

  • This place was very clean, stylish and has a great downtown location. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars only a block away. We felt safe and it was quiet at night

  • I don’t know where to start... this is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve used Airbnb for years and this house was easily the best value, cleanest, homey, and amazing location! When I say great location I mean GREAT. You can’t beat it. Everything we needed was 5 mins away or less. The host even made suggestions for where to eat locally and shop! Her kids even wrote welcome on the driveway which was not only adorable but also made it easy to know it was our Airbnb. Also something she didn’t mention or I didn’t notice was that their was a private garage! HUGE plus in my opinion especially in a foreign city. The whole house was clean from top to bottom. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kids even made suggestions for movies to watch. I have no doubt if I ever find myself in Arkansas again I will be staying here.

  • The experience started a little rocky just due to miscommunication and it being both the host and my first airbnb experience. Airbnb and the host went above and beyond to make everything right and the whole stay was flawless after that. The host is very kind and easy to work with on every aspect. I would absolutely love to stay in his unit anytime Im in town. The apartment was wonderful too. Everything is brand new and beautifully furnish yet still has a feeling of home and peace. Everything you need is there except a couple of paper products and cooking items that you can pick at the store when you go grocery shopping. To me that was no biggy just plan to bring them or buy them. The movie channels kept me entertained and the bed is very comfortable. It is a full size though, which I dont mind because Im small. The neighborhood is gorious with large trees and victorian houses. Its with walking distances of the art center and a park. Also one block from interstate access. Centrally located and makes it extremely to be anywhere within 5 to 10 mins. The only thing thats odd was that when the down stairs neighbor cooks you can hear every single word she is saying through the oven. Which never bothered me and some I even considered free entertainment. :) Its not loud but clear as a bell. My overall experience was fantastic and I would gladly stay at Robin's place again if he would host me! I would refer him to anyone!
