Let me take the guesswork out of a memorable creative experience to the awe inspiring Cinque Terre. Make sure to bring your camera for this unforgettable day trip. We will meet at SMN train station where we will take a lovely train ride through the countryside to the coast. The ride is about 2 hours and I will have your tickets, (included) and will guide you through the regional Italia train system. We will reach La Spezia and change to a small train that hugs the coastline; providing views of the sea. The first half of our day we will be in Manarola, where we will set up for about 2 hours of watercolor, sketching and chilling next to the sea in a spot with both shade and sun. I will have all art supplies and will provide instruction on capturing the dynamic allure of the hillside village. I have two size, postcard (and I have italian stamps) or 8x10 paper I will also have light snacks for us. After, this you can have sometime to explore Manarola freely, for shopping, hiking or food and drinks. We will reconvene and take the small costal train to Vernazza. A lovely port village that has a beautiful old cathedral that we will visit nestled into the rocks. Here is a lovely spot where we can take an apertivo and watch the sunset. After which we will take the train back to Florence. Where we will arrive again at SMN train station in the center.

See the tuscan hills, rolling countryside and Carrara marble mountains by train en route to the breath taking hillside villages of Manarola and Vernazza, my personal favorite cities of Cinque Terre. Instead of taking a bus tour which parks way above the cities and requires inclined long walks, the train hugs the coast into the city. Also instead of freeway we will experience the quiet countryside by train.

This is my favorite plein experience in Italy to teach, and I keep the group sizes very small (4 people) if you have any questions contact me at any time. I will have all supplies, I even bring sunblock, bug spray and wet wipes. I am very flexible and I want this to be relaxing and memorable.
