Au programme

Join this experience for a fun and refreshing day out of the city. We begin by meeting near Circus Maximus in Rome and making sure you are comfortable on your e-bike. Then we take off and ride along the Thermals Baths of Caracalla, once the city’s second largest Roman public baths. Then, glide along on your nifty e-bike through the ancient archway doors leading onto The Appian Way. This is one of the oldest and certainly the most important roads in Rome, built in 312 BC and stretching all the way from Rome to South Italy. Learn about why it was crucial to the Roman Empire, its strategic positioning and the many different ways it was used throughout history. As Romans could not be buried within the city walls, Via Appia Antica also became an important burial road. Notice the many tombs and mausoleums lining its path, and along the ride you will see the most famous of all, the Cecilia Metella Mausoleum. Hear the parable behind the Church of Quo Vadis, where St Peter is said to have met Jesus, and ride past San Callisto Private Park and San Sebastian Church, learning about all the fascinating network of catacombs that lie beneath the ground. Discover Villa di Massenzio and Circus of Maxentius, the second largest arena in Rome after Circus Maximus near the Colosseum. Thanks to the comfort and ease of your E-Bike, see all this and more fo a perfect day outdoors in Ancient Rome

Angelo

Hi! I’m Angelo, a born and raised Roman who is also half American. Together with Rachel, Melanie, Giulia, Thomas, Luca & Patrizio, we are professional tour guides and entertainers, passionate historians, story tellers and performers, providing beautiful experiences of Rome for over a decade. Rome is one of the most incredible cities in the world, with some of the most famous landmarks in the world. Millions of tourists come here every year, but we believe that most do not get to have a personalised and local experience of this incredible town, and that just breaks our heart, because Rome has so much to offer and to be lived! That is why we embarked on this adventure: a personal mission to provide visitors of Rome the ability to actually LIVE it, breath it, learn it, feel it their own! We hope you will join us and EXPERIENCE Rome with us!
