Take a meander through valleys and vineyards, up hills and mountain tracks, along farm roads and through incredible fauna and flora unique to the Western Cape. Picnic in vineyards, have a post-hike meal at a world-class restaurant.

My love of hiking began at the age of 6 when I was old enough to join my dad, Mike Lundy, on his hiking adventures in and around the Cape Peninsula. I very soon became a willing and eager participant in exploratory hikes that were research for trails that were documented in one of the many books written by my dad. I am proud to have carried on in my dad’s footsteps and am the author of “Family Walks in the Western Cape”. I am also an accredited mountain guide and active member of Peninsula Wilderness Search and Rescue.
More recently I have ventured out into the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, where I have spent many hours exploring and developing unique walking trails that are interwoven with historical narratives, fabulous food and wine tastings and incredible vistas.

We will hike in the mountains above Hermanus. We will get to see great views and taste great wines.
