This invitation is for you and up to 9 friends or family members.
We will briefly (or less briefly, if you wish so) explain how the adoption center/cat café works and what is the situation with cats in Barcelona. I will present you to the current inhabitants of the cat café and let you chill with them. I will recommend you what are the favourite toys of each of the cats or the way they like to be petted. You will have them exclusively for yourself, the place won´t be available to other clients during your visit.

Hi! I’m Anna, I’m partner of the first Barcelona cat café and I live with my cats happily. I’ve taken a course as a professional feline therapist in which I’ve got in depth with the cat behaviour, health and needs. For me cats are therapeutic, I relax just by looking at them. At the cat café I enjoy dealing with customers and helping the cats.
Hi! I’m Eva, I’m also partner of the first Barcelona cat café, I live with my cat (she wants to be an only cat) and have taken feline communication courses. I believe there’s an ideal home for each cat and the cat café is the perfect environment for both cats and people to enjoy and to get to know them in a friendlier setting.
We will be happy to share with you everything we know about cats!

Espai de Gats
Espai de Gats (means cat´s space) is a name for both, the first cat café in Barcelona, opened in summer 2016 and a non profit founded a year earlier. We are highly involved in animal welfare by promoting responsible adoption, organizing lectures on cat behaviour and needs, and offering counselling to people whose cats present any issues with behaviour or on emotional/psychological level.
