An authentic home cooked Cape Malay fine dining experience -
- Welcome guests
- Serve welcome drinks
- 1st course - samoosas, dip, paaper & crackles
Guests will then be ushered to the kitchen area for a demonstration on how to make frikkadel. Guest May partake in rolling the handmade meatballs. After this, the frikkadel will be fried while guests return to the dining area.
- 2nd course - traditional frikkadel served with mashed potatoes & beetroot
- 3rd course - Cape Malay chicken curry, rooti & sambals (sometimes we will alternate with butter chicken)
- 4th course - Cape Malay lamb curry served with Jasmine rice & atchar
- 5th course - Dessert - Malva pudding, Cape Malay koeksisters & bollas
I will explain what each dish is as it is served, how it’s made and how to eat it.
Finally, a note of thanks and each guest will be presented with a small gift as a token of our appreciation.

Hi there!
My name is Shereen and I will be your host.
I grew up in a traditional Cape Malay home, where I learned to cook recipes which have been passed down for generations. I have been cooking authentic Cape Malay dishes for the last 25 years.
I offer an exclusive and authentic Cape Malay home cooked dinner experience which is hosted in my dining room. A homely dining experience where we will serve Cape Malay curries, samoosas, frikkadel, rootis as well traditional desserts and sweet treats such as Malva pudding, Cape Malay koeksisters and bollas.
My friendly assistants Sherry and Charity will assist in the kitchen. Both have years of experience in serving & domestic cleaning.
