I'm Ed, an Irishman who grew up in Spain and has been adopted by Helsinki. I've been a tour guide for over 5 years now in Madrid, Barcelona and Girona, and now Helsinki. I have spent the last year exploring and guiding in the city learning all the in's and out's as well as discovering the most beautiful buildings and landmarks, interesting stories, anecdotes, historical facts , interesting historical characters and enjoying the culture, language and even the cuisine! Now that I have established myself here I want to share what I know with those who visit, so that way you can get the most out of your time here and not miss out on anything. I feel that my experience as a guide in other cities and being a foreigner myself in this town, has helped me focus on what really makes Helsinki great from an outsider's perspective.
