Ski among iconic mountains around the alpine mecca of Zermatt with a professional guide who knows the sweetest spots of the Swiss Alps. The goal of this discovery adventure is to get you familiar with Zermatt, learn some riding tips, and how to find quality pockets of terrain. Ideally, we will ride together when you first get to the resort in order for you to maximize your potential for the rest of your trip. We will also keep you informed about snow and weather conditions and we’ll point you in the right direction where to ski in the following days. This discovery trip is suited for intermediate skiers who can comfortably handle red runs. With around 210 kilometers of piste skiing, the slopes surrounding Zermatt are loaded with impressive red runs and a healthy supply of blues. We’ll warm-up with some gentle blues before progressing onto steeper reds that dive down below the treeline. The top of the Rothorn lift offers us long and winding reds, while the top of Hohtalli gives us access to the White Hare, which is 1,100 meters of varying slopes on quality snow. After some thrilling runs we’ll unbind our skis and be led to a scenic, hidden spot perfect for a picturesque group picnic.
