We will walk together through the stalls to find our way to thos ones offering plant-based agroecological (organic) produce, vegan labeled goodies as well as cooling and warming beverages. I will introduce you to the farmers personally and will briefly talk about my experience as their client of many years. You will have time to ask some questions and have the opportunity to buy whatever delicacies enchant your senses. ADDITIONALLY, you will get to buy seasonal fresh produce that you will later prepare yourself during the Brunch class happening at our Mexican family home. We will depart from the Market at 11am and arrive around noon to our Mexican home located outside the downtown area, away from noise and pollution, where you will get to plate the prepared food that you would already have bought for yourself earlier that day at Mercado El 100, AND prepare the rest of the fresh ingredients you have been instructed to also buy for the class. Prepare your taste buds for plant-based Mexican flavors coming straight from the purest ecological agriculture fields. You will know first hand which ingredients are going into the dishes and beverages in case of any allergy or food restriction for religious or philosophical reasons. Rest assured you will constantly be informed which are the options available to accommodate you.
Sharing food in a horizontal community setting has been one of my main passions for over a decade. This drive led me to co-organize vegan picnics in Mexico City, screening the premier of Cowspiracy in 2 free events at a movie theatre, organizing vegan group travels to Oaxaca City, and both sides of Sierra Norte. But one of the most special things for me has been to welcome travelers and friends for vegan meals at my family's home. The main factor for going vegan and staying vegan is finding community, finding your tribe of people which you can feel support and with whom you get to share fun moments that build good memories and deeper relationships. This is the secret to not only go vegan, but stay vegan. And go beyond!

Plus de conseils
There are no available toilets right on the market. But do not worry, there are a couple of options available just a couple of blocks away inside Sanborn's store at Plaza Cuauhtémoc. Make sure you leave some buffer time to walk the distance. This experience does not cover your food and beverages.
