Upon arrival at my family home you'll be greeted in true Moroccan style and offered dates and mint tea. There will be time to get to know a little about me, chef Fatim-Zahra, and my 30 years of experience of cooking delicious Moroccan dishes, before we head into our kitchen. In our small group of home cooks I will guide you and help you learn to cook a variety of tasty Moroccan recipes. It will be a highly personalised, interactive and fun cooking experience.
Our experience will be conducted in English-language and includes preparation of at least two mouth-watering Moroccan specialities such as briouat, pastilla and a spicy cooked salad plus a fish, chicken, beef or lamb tagine. If you join me on our holy day of Friday, we will prepare Royal couscous – the traditional day for eating couscous in Morocco. During our time together we will be assisted by a ‘Dada’ and all participants will try their hand at making dough and baking bread the traditional way!
