My name is Shehan de silva, known as Sk by most. I am of Dutch Burgher(Eurasian) and Sinhalese lineage. My mother is a roman catholic and my father is a Buddhist This gives me a unique perspective on multicultural Sri lanka. I am currently living in the capital/old kingdom Kotte. I am passionate about History, food and sustainability. I also teach at schools, own a sustainable business that makes accessories out of recycled flip flops, co-own a travel company built on social enterprise and take part in Triathlons in my spare time. I love meeting new people, sharing stories and knowledge. I've been hosting friends, travellers and a few celebrities from around the world for the last decade. I think of my self as a humble student of life who is a kid at heart. I love my island home and try to give back to her in what ever i do.
