You'll love this visually stunning walk led by professional photographer, travel writer and native San Franciscan, Ben Davidson. Ben is also a longtime resident of Marin County. Our four-hour outing meets at the Sausalito Ferry Landing (take the Golden Gate ferry from SF or travel by Uber/Lyft), with an option to walk across the bridge on your own. With the iconic Redwood forests of Marin, the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands as settings, this walk is an awesome way to see the best of idyllic southern Marin County. Exploring the Marin side of the Golden Gate, our walk follows a quiet route through lovely Mill Valley's redwood forested Cascade Canyon, coastal landscape of the Marin Headlands, from the bayfront of Fort Baker to Battery Spencer, whose outstanding and unusual views of the Golden Gate Bridge are world famous. In spring, wildflowers abound on our route and , depending on the season, there's a chance of spotting migrating humpback and gray whales just off the coast. This is a unique San Francisco tour you don't want to miss!

We shuttle from Sausalito to Mill Valley's Cascade Canyon and explore and learn about the redwoods. After lunch by a waterfall, we head to Fort Baker, where the iconic Golden Gate Bridge comes into view. We enjoy spectacular views of the Bridge and Bay. From the shoreline, we ascend to Battery Spencer for unique and unusual views of the Golden Gate. We then head back to Fort Baker or choose to walk on-your-own across the bridge back to the city.
