In my cookery classes I combine know-how with food chat and we'll produce some fine food in the process. There's a selection of classes that cover Catalan, Spanish and wider Med cooking. There's something for everyone - whatever your culinary talents.
In our 4-hour morning classes, firstly a freshly squeezed juice and tortilla as we say hello to each other and you get over the shock of my tattoos!
Next, based in Sitges' perfect sized indoor market, we'll step out and take a tour for 30 minutes. I buy almost all my produce here and I've known many of the traders for years.
Then down to work... when we'll knock out some amazing dishes. Not the sort of class where we all have a chopping board, a knife and an onion. That really isn't my style. Sure, everyone can help and we'll move at a pace to suit you all. Most of all I want to inspire you. We'll have some fun and, of course, some fab food in the process.
We'll talk about the different styles of Tapas and how to put together an impressive offering. Our 10 Tapas will cover the well known classics that could maybe benefit from a rethink plus dishes you've eaten in a tapas bar but never quite known how to cook. Once a month we give the tapas a theme such as 10 Spiced up Tapas (12th Feb), 10 Seafood Tapas or 10 Vegetarian Tapas (11th Mar). Please ask for details when booking.
