Rivertown Getaway

Great location in the middle of town. Easy walk to the downtown area that offers great history on area with a museum & historic one room schoolhouse, take a walk along the beautiful Mississippi River, check out Veterans Park, etc., so much do to and see! This home can sleep 4 comfortably and accommodate 2 more guest with a blowup air mattress that is on site. Inside you will find new appliances, bedding, and linens. The outside is a work in progress! No smoking or pets allowed.

Accessible from both Main Street as well as two side streets, the side driveway can accommodate multiple cars or recreational vehicles. The address is walkable to restaurants, groceries, school facilities, and even church establishments. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Located 5 miles from town. Watch the sunrise while having coffee on the deck. Enjoy the local wildlife, while walking the trails around the pond and through the woods. We are a working farm with cows and free range chickens. Regrettably, we cannot allow pets to accompany guests. The safety concern for your pets and our animals is too great. Cows like to chase dogs, dogs like to chase chickens, cows and other wildlife.

Relax with the entire family at this peaceful place to stay. 2 bedroom, 2 baths and lots of living space. Fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. Wheelchair ramp has been added to provide a more convenient way for entry into the home. This property sits on 2 acres with plenty of room for the family to enjoy the outdoor patio and fire pit. It is located a short distance from major retail stores, grocery stores, churches, schools and the city park.

Lone Oak Lodge-private yet 3 minutes from town

Our lodge sits just up over the hill from our family home on our 60 acres. Secluded yet just three minutes from Walmart and town. Our private drive comes to a V and you will veer left up a gravel lane to the lodge at the top of the hill. The wrap around deck, fire pit and grills/cookers allow for plenty of outside entertainment. We enjoy nothing better than to watch the sun go up or down from the deck.
