What was once a chicken shed is now a sweet, cosy pet-friendly cottage perfect for families, adventurers, readers, writers, nature lovers. There are two bedrooms (one king size bed, one twin), a wood burning stove, lovely fresh characterful décor, books, a spacious kitchen, stunning views. You can explore beautiful beaches, great small towns, rolling hills or just enjoy looking out the window. You'll hear owls, see hares and red kites and get a taste of this undiscovered corner of Scotland.

Burnbrae Byre

Truly luxurious holiday accommodation in a tastefully converted byre, set in a tranquil, rural location, but ideally located for all that the south- west has to offer. The cottage is beautifully presented with hard wood floors and finishes throughout, including a wood-burning stove in the spacious living room, sumptuous beds chosen for their quality and comfort, and fully equipped to make a superb holiday cottage. Former Granary of Glenluiart House in the wonderful musical, artistic festival village of Moniaive. The Granary is a category B listed building and has been fully renovated to a high standard and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing short stay. Private grounds with access to a peaceful garden and wonderful countryside views. One mile to local village of Moniaive and six miles drive to Thornhill with great local restaurants and activities. Non smoking and unfortunately no pets.

Swift Cottage, Auldgirth - a haven of tranquility

Swift Cottage was lovingly converted in 2014 from McMurdoston's old granary. It's a perfect base from which to explore the hidden gem of Dumfries and Galloway - an area packed with history, wildlife, unspoilt beaches, stunning views and acres of wilderness. We're a 15 minute drive from Dumfries (you'll find eateries, supermarkets, independent shops, an ice bowl, cinema and leisure centre) but Swift Cottage feels as though it's in the middle of nowhere - with dark skies and genuine peace.

Woodend is a beautiful cottage set in a semi rural setting, with stunning aspects from all bedrooms and sitting room. Quiet and tranquil garden and patio area, perfect for enjoying a glass of bubbly and taking in the wonderful views and relaxing. The semi detached cottage is stylish and tastefully decorated. Part of the beauty of Woodend is even though you are surrounded by fields, it’s only a stroll into Dumfries town centre (20 mins) where you will find pubs, restaurants and shopping.
