Pristine Lake Location in Vermont

Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

Great Old Farmhouse near Jay Peak

Updated farmhouse built in 1860 located 8mi. from Jay Peak, in the heart of the village of Montgomery Center. There’s a bar/ restaurant & supermarket across the street but only the Trout River & forest out back. Easy access to skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and a quick walk to a great swimming hole. One of a few places locally with access to fast internet (Gigabit). The house, now solar powered, sleeps 6-8 and is spacious, well insulated, and well furnished. 8 people + 2 infants max.

There are 13 acres to play (snowshoe, cross country ski, sledding, hiking or just relaxing) and only 20 minutes to Jay Peak! The views/sunsets from the property are breathtaking. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths across 2 floors NOTE: this house is a split level and there are stairs to get to both the main level and lower level.

Come and embrace the majestic beauty of Vermont from Sugar Hill, a quaint log cabin nestled on 24 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.

Ten minutes to Jay Peak Ski Resort. Secluded in the woods next to Starr Brook, yet only a 2 min drive to the Jay Village Inn restaurant and bar and the Jay Country Store. Located directly across the street from the golf course/nordic center, next to the Ice Haus & the Water Park. Walk to the tram in the morning. Great destination for a small family, couples getaway or just a place to rest your head after a long day skiing/boarding. Newly renovated bathroom. Sweet and simple. Pets welcome!

Hidden Chalet 8 minutes from Jay Peak

This one of a kind property, formerly a Historic Grist mill (with ruins still on the property to explore) is surrounded on 3 sides by the Jay Branch River, a crystal clear mountain stream that runs down from Jay peak. The property is filled with Cedar and Maple and the sound of the River permeates through the trees. With multiple swimming holes and a 20 foot waterfall just steps from the deck there’s not another Airbnb like this in the state of Vermont.

Dog Friendly Apartment near Jay Peak

Enjoy the beauty of Montgomery, Vermont while staying in a very spacious 1-bedroom apartment that is attached to an 1880s farmhouse with a large backyard, garden and and orchard. The apartment is a 15-20 minute drive to Jay Peak Resort and a 3 minute drive to a grocery store and restaurants. It is walking distance from the Hutchins covered bridge and there is private access to the river. Excellent walking for your dog(s)!
