Cozy alpine guesthouse cabins with in-house natural hotspring baths in the forested highlands of Japan's epic 3000m Nagano Alps, offering the closest possible accommodation to the "Roof of Japan" - the Alpine Route and Takase hiking treks. Hakuba ski resorts start 15 minutes away. We also have a compact music studio in the main lodge with guitars, bass, keyboard and electronic drum kit - suitable for a small group of musicians with space for 3 to 4 players and 6 to 8 intimate audience seats.

Twin bed or Double bed room with shared bathroom. The Joint Hakuba is centrally located in the heart of Echoland Hakuba. A short stroll to restaurants, bars, cafes, ski and snowboard hire, gift shops and transport to the Hakuba Mountains. We have en-suite rooms, non en-suite rooms and 6 bed dorm room. Use of chalet including dining, laundry, kitchen. Chalet host will help you with organising equipment hire and restaurant suggestions. Ski in ski out to both Cortina and Norikura. Amazing location! Located a 15 min walk / 4 min drive from Tsugaike kogen ski area, a beautiful log cabin villa at the end of the road. The home features five ensuite bedrooms, carpeted and wood flooring throughout the home and heating throughout - everything you need to keep warm and cozy while enjoying the winter. The place is really quiet and peaceful surrounded by forest. Parking available. Breakfast included.

Penke Panke Lodge - Twin room w breakfast and BBQ.

Penke Panke Lodge is a well equipped nature lodge located in the scenic upper Wadano at the base of Happoone ski resort. Enjoy nature but without loosing all the modern comforts of home. We have complimentary bikes and rafts to take the lake and you can enjoy a evening BBQ for only 2,000 yen to help us cover the cost of the coals or gas and the time to clean the grill.
