Come enjoy my Tree House Retreat. The minute you turn into my driveway, sigh a breath of relief, and relax. My tiny house is located on a small mountain, with a lake, isolated but near everything. All are welcome here at Tree House Retreat. If you are a solo adventurer, a writer, artist, someone who loves hiking, fishing, kayaking , you will love it here.Please note, that the Tree House is a tiny house, 100 sq ft. The bathroom is separate from the Tree House a 57 second walk. It is 216 sq.ft.

It's the perfect place to retreat to after a day of hunting, pottery shopping, exploring the Uwharrie National Forest or going wild at the NC Zoo. Your time in Bigfoot's Backyard will be memorable!

Pinnacle of Relaxation

Quaint lakefront cottage with the bonus of a separate guest house. The cottage features an open living room and kitchen with a great view of the lake. The main bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom is also located on the main floor. The upstairs loft is great for younger travelers and features a full mattress on the floor. The guest house has a double bed with a twin trundle, and another full bathroom. There is boat ramp access and a dock for swimming. A beautiful and relaxing retreat!

Located near the NC Zoo and situated on the edge of the Uwharrie National Forest, this cozy family cottage offers accommodations for up to 7. You'll be within minutes from local attractions such as Low Water Bridge, Badin Lake OHV Trail Complex and Seagrove Pottery. Golf, lakes, and other outdoor attractions make for awesome local day trips. The large yard and parking area affords adequate space to bring and maneuver your off-road toys, trailers, boats etc... The fenced yard welcomes Fido!

This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. The Asheboro Zoo is a beautiful drive less than an hour away. Take the time to read the guest review below who says it all! There are no cameras anywhere in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop Challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery—Badin Lake, is a twenty-minute ride. Dennis Vineyards is 8 miles away. Guests over one are an additional $15 per day per person (kids under 2 N/C a pet charge of $10 per day per animal. Pets MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. (Airbnb cannot charge the correct "daily" pet fee.) We will ask for any difference after you book.

Vacation getaway on 20 acres. 1100 sqft wrap around covered porch overlooking a 3/4 acre private pond. The pond is well stocked with bass and brim for easy catching. Large fire pit with log benches between the house and pond. Great sound system! Guests are able to connect their device to the sound system and enjoy their music inside and out. The pond includes a paddle boat and there are life jackets in the barn. Downstairs has a fridge, pool table, dart board, & other games for our guests.

Boat Rental companies are close by as well as convenience stores.

Parrish Place

Parrish Place is a one room Lake cabin built in 1954. Beautiful natural pine walls milled from trees on the family land. You will have access to the lake and Dock. Great fishing. Kayaks available to guest. Private Deck for that morning coffee overlooking the lake. New gas grill on the deck for guest to use. We are Pet friendly , your fur babies will enjoy swimming in the lake and so will you.
