The Barn House

Escape to The Barn House and experience the charm of farm life, just 20 minutes from Athens! Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside while staying close to shopping, dining, and all the game-day excitement. Whether you’re here to relax or to cheer on the Dawgs, this is the perfect place to unwind between adventures. *Guests MUST be able to climb stairs! The top of The Barn House is where the bedroom and main bathroom are located. The bottom floor contains a gaming and lounge area.

Farmhouse 8 miles from downtown Athens

Fifteen minutes North of downtown Athens (8 miles from the stadium), this private home is located on five acres of farm land. The home, lovingly called “The Birdhouse”, was built by hand in 1900, and has all the charm of hand hewn boards, solid wood floors, and tall ceilings. Rumor has it, the original home owner, and namesake of the road, was a prolific moonshiner. The house features two beds, one queen and one full in separate rooms, one full bathroom, and a complete kitchen.

The Bread Basket, our little local restaurant, has the best fried chicken you can find and can put together your tailgate package. Breakfast is also served daily and a full lunch during the week.
