We live on a lifestyle block North of Kaiwaka. The cabin is self contained, having a combined lounge/kitchen/dining; bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. A bedroom with two king size single beds. The kitchen has pots, pans, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. There is coffee, tea, milo, milk and sugar. There is also WiFi in the unit. Guests are welcome to wander over our property. We have a non smoking and non vaping policy. Please note: the charge for 1 guest is $75, 2 guests is $125.

Located 1 minute from Little Munro Bay, where kayaks and boats can be launched. World renowned hiking trails are on your doorstep like Mt Manaia, Mt. Aubrey and the Te Araroa Trail.

Pukeko Refuge

This is a lovely large quiet and tranquil separate unit with a new bathroom. A small stream gurgles alongside enjoyed by pukekoes and eels. We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. A Gazebo over looking the stream to watch the pukeko playing, maybe enjoying a glass of wine. The unit has a microwave, fridge and toaster sofa, table and chairs for you to enjoy "home away from it all". Very safe off street parking

Welcome to your getaway. An expansive, lush property bordered by a stream and native trees with an extensive garden where you are welcome to wander and sit. A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.
