The guest house located at an elevation of about 2500ft in Rokko area of Seto Inland Sea National Park. Unfortunately, there is no veiw from the guest house, but you can enjoy the private space as it is reserved for one building. Mount Rokkō is cooler (about -40°Ｆ) than the city because of the altitude. English speaking staff will be available for foreigner guests. If you have any questions, please contact us. Reikyo Hanazono｜Garden Tatami

Just one stop from the city’s rush, yet quietly removed from its noise — Reikyo presents a serene tatami room designed for rest, reflection, and quiet beauty. Facing a small private garden, this space blends traditional Japanese style with modern comfort. The courtyard garden is softly lit at night, creating a meditative mood that shifts with the time of day. Washi-style lighting, natural wood textures, and the soft scent of tatami create a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city.

西村邸は、奈良町の一画に100年以上たたずむ、昔ながらの奈良町屋です。 ここは、ぼくが子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」でした。 奈良町には、ずっと変わらない心地よい鄙(ひな)びがあります。 「これからの世代に、少しでもこの心地よい鄙(ひな)びにふれて欲しい。」 そんな想いで、空き家になっていた西村邸を、手入れしました。 - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.
