Relaxing Country Getaway- come hike or just R&R

This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures. Firepit and wood available. 5 hiking trails on 300 acres! While you may just enjoy the hiking and scenery the property provides,you are 2 min from Athens and the Ohio University. Spacious free parking for campers, boats, and outdoor gear. Pet friendly.

Quiet+private 2 bdrm cabin. Located just 5 miles from e. state st. and 7 miles to court st. Our cabin is furnished with 2 king beds, linens provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker and outside gas grille. The bathroom has a tub/shower and was recently renovated. Cabin has 2 porches that offer great country views. Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.
