This lovely hale li'i (tiny house in Hawaiian) is a perfect private little get away place! The place is fully furnished and has a kitchenette complete with a single burner induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, blender and toaster. There is no oven but the large lanai (veranda) is fully equipped for barbecueing and lounging around! The coup de grâce is the bathroom shower which is very spacious with a skylight and features a custom tile mosaic mural created by the host!

Attached private Ohana on the lush hamakua coast. Located in Pa’auhau, “the land of sunshine”, on the southern end of Honokaa. Great spot for exploring North and South Kohala and the Hamakua Coast. Please note My husband builds furniture out of the garage and there is potential for noise between the hours of 9-5 on some days.

A beautiful get-away surrounded by nature on a cacao farm! One-bedroom + loft cabin, full kitchen, bathroom, w/d, sunny lanai, on our Big Island off-grid permaculture farm. Cabin is nestled in a food forest a few hundred feet from a stunning waterfall with swimming hole in a peaceful bamboo grove. One king-size bed in bedroom, two twin beds in loft, which has low ceiling & is accessed by steep narrow stairs. Free entrance to botanic garden. Organic eggs, homemade chocolate at farmstand!

During your stay I highly recommend the Papaaloa Country Store and Restaurant just down the road. They have great pizza and fresh locally grown foods and local style menu. Located on the tropical Hamakua Coast in the historic town of Honokaa, this home has 2 decks with beautiful ocean views, beside a tropical gulch. It sleeps 6 with a Calif King Temperpedic bed, a queen sofa sleeper & twin bamboo daybeds. The bamboo daybeds are good for children & short/average people. The home has 1.5 baths which include a spa tub & separate shower, free high speed Wifi and Koi pond. The kitchen is fully equipped with every thing you need to cook a full meal.
