'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Hike in the beautiful Santa Fe National forest / discover the nearby caves and petroglyphs. All of this plus only 10 minutes from the small town of Pecos and 25 minutes to Santa Fe.

Experience a unique stay in a one bedroom, one and half bath, converted grain bin with access to a large stocked pond in a private setting! The loft bedroom has a king size bed with half bath. Full size sofa sleeper, rollaway twin size bed and queen air mattress also available. Fully stocked kitchen with kitchen amenities, washer/dryer access available. Pet friendly with fenced dog yard. Feel at Home at Casa Café in the heart of downtown

I designed this house thinking about a business person who needs to have meetings and work in a very private environment. I was inspired by the scientists who previously stayed in my studio and worked at Los Alamos lab. This house is also ideal for members of the film industry as well as the Santa Fe Opera. There is adequate room and seating in the living room for 10+ people. One of the bedrooms doubles as an office. The price includes the NMGR Tax of 8.475%. The cleaning fee is weekly.

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.
