Family Tides: Hidden Gem, Colonial Beach Getaway

This relaxing get-away boasts a large, fenced-in backyard and is an easy 2 block walk to the private Ebb Tide Beach; a 15-minute drive to Colonial Beach (the second largest sand beach in Virginia); and a 12-minute drive to Westmoreland State Park. Make yourself at home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an office space that accommodates up to 9 guests and plenty of space to relax. In addition to the beach, there is excellent fishing, birding, and hiking, as well as local vineyards to visit.

Downtown Oasis (Pets Welcome)

Our warmly decorated guest suite is attached to but fully separate from the main part of our home, with its own private entrance. The suite includes a spacious bedroom, large bathroom and separate living/sleeping area with a TV, mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, and Keurig. An adjacent laundry room is available for your use upon request (FOC). The small deck, patio and fully fenced yard are included for your exclusive use. Parking is available on the street right out front of our home.

Step outside and you'll find stunning views of the water, where you can enjoy kayaking right from the shoreline, cast a line for some fishing, or simply sit back and take in the gentle sounds of the water.

Shared property, but the second floor guesthouse is all yours. The first floor is a garage we use for storage. Salt water lap pool, 100 feet of beach on Lower Machodic Creek with expansive views of the Potomac River, kayaks, private dock, and 20 acres to explore. Relax in this peaceful, stylish space for one, located north of Richmond. Park in the carport and go upstairs (21 steps) to enjoy privacy, convenience, and safety - with kitchenette, small washer/dryer, smart TV, desk, and exterior cameras. Ashland, less than three miles south, has restaurants (many), grocery stores, laundromats, a movie theater, a public library, churches, a post office, and Randolph Macon College. King’s Dominion and Meadow Event Park are six miles north.

Our area is rich in Civil War history with lots of great places to dine, shop, or catch a Fredericksburg National game at the ballpark. Close to I95 for a trip to Washington, DC (60 mi) or south to Richmond. Kitchenette but no stove. Microwave.

The Riverbunk is located on the Rappahannock River in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The scenic River is home to Eagles, ospreys and great blue herons. The river offers the perfect kayaking experience and for boaters, a boat launch is within walking distance. Fishing, hunting, hiking and sightseeing are popular in this area. We are 420-friendly where smoking is allowed outside. The rural area is perfect for quiet downtime and fun activities.

Welcome to Belle Haven Farm and our Tiny Home - Free Parking on site. Enjoy the sights and sounds of a working farm on the grounds of a historic home situated on 18 acres. Cows, sheep, horses, and chickens will greet you as you pull off the beaten path - but still a mere 8 minutes from Exit 126 off I-95 in Fredericksburg, VA. Enjoy a campfire on a cool evening and walk the grounds with your morning cup of coffee.
