Welcome to the Nordic Nest. A cozy abode nestled amongst the trees high on the hill in the quaint village of Milan. You are guaranteed peace & quiet here with an occasional relaxing hum of the train passing by. With 5+ acres you will have all the privacy you want & right down the hill is everything you need, including groceries & gas. The Nordic Nest offers comfort & simplicity aiming to enhance your pleasures of slowing down, enjoying fresh air & nature, & embracing good company. Velkommen!!

Cabin #5-The Cottage

Tranquil getaway with home comforts including furnished kitchen w/appliances, Farm style seating for 4, reclining loveseat, queen bed, beautiful bathroom. Cute front porch, side patio w/table for six, portable firepit. Surrounded by trees/privacy fence. Available year-round. Queen bed, linens/towels. Housekeeping not provided unless the stay is more than one week.  At that time, we will clean the linens/towels & entire space & charge an additional $25.  Same weekly pattern for extended stays.

The Mulberry House

Welcome to the Mulberry House created by Big Stone Development. Located off the south shore of Big Stone Lake and 2 blocks from downtown Ortonville and Artie's Bait Shop.This property is the ideal location for lake visitors. Ample parking for ice houses, boats, recreational vehicles etc. Three bedrooms: 4 Queen +1 Full bed; 1.5 baths. Newly renovated, all new furnishings, appliances, mattresses, and linens. Large stocked kitchen with utensils, dishes, cookware. High speed wireless internet.

SCL: Wild Turkey In Ortonville

Beautiful view and large backyard in a very quiet area make this home a great place to stay while visiting Ortonville/Big Stone Lake. The home gets it's name from the visiting groups of turkeys we often see in the backyard. This home offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can comfortably accommodate 7 guests. There is off the street parking, outdoor outlets, and a fish and game cleaning area in the garage (We ask that you take your fish/game scraps with you for disposal).

Big Stone Lake Family Cabin: Lakefront

This adorable bungalow is situated on the shoreline of Big Stone Lake and captures amazing sunrises over the water. The open concept boasts beautiful lakefront views from the kitchen and living areas. Enjoy the comfort of the fireplace, dinner on the lakefront deck, a ride in the kayak’s or stoke up a bonfire as you listen to the waves on the shore and fish off the dock. Public boat ramp is directly next door for easy access to the lake.

Cabin on Lonesome Lake

This little cabin has everything you need to enjoy some quiet and relaxing time away. Whether you're in the area for a hunting/fishing trip, or just want a weekend away, we hope that you can enjoy some rest and relaxation during your stay. Inside you will see there are two bedrooms with a loft on each side. Sleeping 8, this little cabin has a full bathroom, kitchen and living area. We hope our little cabin is just what your looking for!

Fireplace, firepit in the back, and known for the dark night sky and star gazing. Nearby bike trails and a water trail for kayaking / canoeing nearby. A known 'stepping stone' for migratory waterfowl across North America. Peaceful, quiet, wide open spaces and great kite flying.

Perhaps kenneled hunting dogs may work out Fishing trip? Boat parking available

A Taste of Farm Living

A peaceful place in the country, yet only two miles from town. Twenty minutes from numerous lakes and many walk- in hunting areas. Not outdoorsy? Shopping and activities for the kids (Children's Museum, SDSU Ag Museum and Redlin Center) are close by in Watertown and Brookings. Or, hang out at the farm, watch the chickens peck in the grass, and roast marshmallows in fire pit.

The Main

The Main is located in the heart of downtown Madison, MN. The apartment has been recently remodeled but the charming characteristics from the past are left including tall ceilings, beautiful woodwork, transome windows, and an exposed brick wall. There are 22 steps to get up to the apartment but once you are there you will enjoy the Main Street views!
