Karingal Cabin Retreat

This secluded cabin is the perfect retreat for a single, couple, or a family looking to 'switch off' from the daily grind. There is a grassed camping area right next to the cabin for the kids to sleep in tents, while mum and dad can relax comfortably in Karingal Cabin. Kids stay free when you bring your own tents. We are 5 mins drive from the tourist & fishing village of Yeppoon. We are 190 metres above sea level and boast views north towards the Byfield Ranges and East over the Keppel Isles.

Stylish and comfortable, this 1950's cottage style home has quality linens and many thoughtful personal touches that will make it your home away from home. There is off street parking for several vehicles. David grew up in Rocky, and as a family we have lived here for over 20 years, so you'll be looked after by locals!

Large covered outdoor area with bbq, table and chairs. Large lawn area. Under cover parking. Main bedroom with ensuite, House sleeps 8 people, Large kitchen and dining room overlooking the pool. Lounge with smart tv and comfortable lounge and chairs for relaxing/reading.

Beautiful stand alone unit, can sleep up to four adult guests, 1 x queen 2 x single, ability to sleep more (travel cot and high chair available) claw foot bath, kitchen, lounge, wifi and tv. Outdoor area, acess to fire pit, bbq and pizza oven. Kids play area. Ample parking. Set in 170 acres of bushland, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and stacks of native animals and plants. On the highway halfway between Gladstone and Rockhampton, ideal stop for a restful night or days exploring.

An off grid experience but with all the modern comforts in this solar powered self contained cabin surrounded by 110 acres of woodland/nature and mountainous view. good mobile phone coverage (all networks) Situated 40 mins north of Rockhampton, 3 min drive to the property from the Bruce highway to the farm gate then a 1 km drive up to the cabin on unsealed driveway (a normal 2 wheel drive car is sufficient) Servo and shop 15min away and a 25min drive to Capricorn Caves.

Pegasus Horse Park is on 33 acres. The rural views from this elevated position on the side of Mount Barmoya are exceptional. Our Guests like the sunset views from the deck beside the spa. We encourage guest to walk down the lane, feed and pat horses, try the swing down near the dam and generally relax and take it all in. The Capricorn coast is on your doorstep offering great beaches, fine dining, pubs and clubs, the best swimming lagoon in Queensland and much more.

There is a fully stocked kitchen, lounge, office and separate sitting area. You open the doors straight out onto the front deck which takes advantage of the amazing sweeping ocean views. The fabulous pool is situated at the back of the house and is lovely and private.
