1 Mile to the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge +1 mile to the beach; (2 mi. total). 2-Story townhome. Guest bedroom/bath are on the ground floor, along with the kitchen/dining/living area. My bedroom/bath are upstairs. No frills, though a prime, east side, Wilmington location; set up to allow guests lots of space & privacy, to relax and enjoy the downstairs mostly to themselves, (inclu. cook/dine). Pool/Tennis/Bikes. CHECK-IN: AFTER 4PM. Unable to accommodate early check-ins.

PRIME LOCATION on the EAST SIDE of WILMINGTON, near the Intracoastal Waterway and drawbridge to the "island town" of Wrightsville Beach. 5-6 Minute drive to the beach and ocean. My rate is approx. 30% less than alternative lodging in the immediate area and approx. 65% less than Wrightsville Beach accommodations, just over the bridge. No frills or state-of-the-art features offered, but simple comfort and a large amount of space and privacy; with full use of kitchen, dining and living room area; plus special amenities, including bikes, pool, tennis courts, multi beach provisions, and washer/dryer.

Next door to the townhome neighborhood, (a 3-5-min. walk), are 2 shopping centers offering a variety of restaurants, shops, wine bar, a grocery, hair/nail salon, day spa, fitness center, and more!

Mayfaire Towne Center, The Forum, and Landfall Shopping Center are within a 5-min. drive, offering a diversity of great restaurants, shops, grocery stores, night life/live music/bars, a pharmacy, health food stores, movie theater, walk-in chiropractic office (high reveiws by guests & very reasonably priced), walk-in medical clinic, and more.
The beautiful wedding venue, WRIGHTSVILLE MANOR, is diagonally behind my place, a 5-min. walk, and the nearest lodging possible!

My listed check-in time of 4:00 P.M. is the earliest arrival time that I am able to offer or accommodate.
You are welcome to reserve the prior night, to arrive the following morning/day, and I will be happy to offer a special rate for the night.

CHECK-OUT: BEFORE 12:00 NOON. (Possibly Flexible)
Please ask in advance if a later check-out time would better suit your plans and I will try to work it out. Mostly, it would depend on if there is a reservation for that night and ETA.

Guest bedroom, with queen bed and private bath are on the first floor of the townhome, along with the kitchen, dining and living room. Guests basically have the entire first floor to themselves. My private space is upstairs. I am rarely in the downstairs area except to pass through to enter/leave the condo or make a quick meal in the kitchen. (I dine upstairs.)

Biking is a convenient and fun way to get around this area. 2-3 Beach cruiser bikes, (well-ridden/functional,) are provided. Please let me know before your arrival date if you are considering using the bikes and I'll make sure they are ready to ride since last ridden.

3RD GUEST - There is a comfortable, fold-out bed with mattress + memory foam available for a 3rd guest. It is slightly more narrow than a twin sized bed.

***Sorry, no dogs or any other pet is allowed. I am unable to accommodate pets due to HOA's rules.

Guests are provided 1 designated parking space by the townhome. Additional spaces are available if there are 2 cars or friends/relatives are visiting.

Guests have use of the townhome neighborhood swimming pool, (May-September,) and tennis courts, (year-round).

PROVISIONS: Bath towels, bed linens, pillows and blankets, bottled water, regular/decaf coffee and condiments, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, bath wash, hypoallergenic bar soap, full length mirror, iron/ironing board, and use of washer/dryer. Also, if you would like to borrow clothes steamer, please just ask!
Also, provided are lotion, cotton balls, Q-tips, and a first aid kit, in the guest bathroom.

OTHER PROVISIONS: 2 beach cruiser bikes, (well-ridde but functional,) and, usually, a 3rd bike is possible, too, a bike lock, removable basket, rear bike rack, 2 tennis racquets + tennis balls, and knapsacks.

FOR THE BEACH: beach towels, chairs, lounge chairs, umbrella, lightweight blanket/spread, beach bags, boogie boards, coolers, and cooler packs.

* Correction * No Snorkeling Gear is Provided. It happens to be auto-included under Beach Essentials/Amenities.

KITCHEN: There is plenty of room in refrigerator, on kitchen counter tops and cabinet space for you. The kitchen is equipped with general cookware. If there's any type of specialty cookware you prefer, please bring along. Guests often bring groceries, particular food items and beverages from home and there are grocery stores and coffee shops within walking distance. Within a 4-min. drive is a health food store/grocery/deli and a fresh seafood market (5-min. drive). Other options are within a 10 or 12-min. drive, i.e., Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods. Mayfaire Town Center is a 5-min. drive, (shopping/dining/entertainment). No barbecue grill provided. You are welcome to bring along a portable grill if you would like. Wrightsville Beach Park has grills and picnic tables which you may use.

LIVING AREA: DVD player and flat screen TV with over-the-air TV channels only + Amazon Firestick (including Netflix). No cable TV. *** Please note: When there is a storm or high winds, television reception for the over-the-air local channels is likely to be affected and interrupt TV station viewing. There are 4+ tavern/sports bar/eateries within a 3-5-min. drive, providing large screen TVs.
Front door entrance is a combination key pad lock and the guest bedroom door has a keyed lock.

Autres remarques
LIGHT SLEEPERS should keep in mind that this is a 2 bedroom, 2-story townhome/condo. Guests have a housemate (me). Most likely, we will be on different schedules; sometimes not even crossing paths. Sounds from my upstairs' space, such as music or videos do not carry over to the downstairs' space, so guests are unlikely to be disturbed by this; and vice versa. Early morning or late night, there’s no need to tip-toe around. Light sleepers may hear sounds from my movement within the condo; (at the front door entrance, in the kitchen, or on stairway to room). The guest bedroom is next to the front door. There is a fan in the guest bedroom for extra cooling and may also be used to drown out slight sounds.

MY LOCATION is in Wilmington, not to be confused with the town of Wrightsville Beach or "on the beach." Though I am not on the beach, I am nearly as close as you can be on the Wilmington side of the WB drawbridge. The condo is is .9 mile from the Wrightsville Beach bridge and the Intracoastal Waterway. Once you have crossed the bridge, the beach is 1 more mile.

Nice, safe and quiet townhome neighborhood, with pool and tennis courts, and next door to great restaurants, bars, a large 24-hr. grocery, boutiques, day spa, nail salon, hair salon fitness/health center.

Love travel and the experience of being in varied locales. Spent many years moving around, living in different cities/places. Initially, moved to Wilmington to work in the film industry, and the beautiful surrounding beaches have kept me here. The condo is set up so that guests are able to easily manage on their own. I am available anytime by text/phone and happy to answer any questions or make suggestions if wanted; otherwise, there's not usually a lot of interaction except when crossing paths. I hope you will make yourselves comfortable and at home, relaxing and enjoying the downstairs' area of the townhome as your own space for as much as is possible. I do not spend time any time on the 1st floor except to pass through to enter/leave the home or make quick meals in the kitchen (to dine upstairs).

At the end of the stay, on the check-out date, guests are not responsible for washing towels and bed linens or stripping the bed(s).
