My home is an Alpine Lodge located adjacent to the Alpine National Park. I am a full time resident of Dinner Plain and offer a FULL HOSTING B&B (I live in the Lodge with the guests). This bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and is suitable for either single or double occupancy.
Please note - I have special winter packages available during July 14 and September. Weekend rates (Fri/Sat nights are $680 for the 2 nights), 1 night for $400, week night rates (Sun - Thursday nights vary from $260/night to $350/night - depending on the number of nights you stay. My Alpine Lodge is my primary HOME. It is a classically designed and built high country residence with vaulted timber ceilings, exposed rock work, solid timber posts and timber panelling. The Lodge has uninterrupted views south over the Alpine National Park, spacious public spaces within the Lodge and extremely comfortable and cosy bedrooms for all house guests. With only 5 guest bedrooms serviced by 3 guest bathrooms, my Lodge aims to provide an intimate and friendly ambience.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests are able to access the Lodge's front door using a 4 digit code (no key required) as well as their own individual bedroom with a 6 digit entry code. Areas within the Lodge available to guests are GROUND FLOOR - bedrooms, and bathrooms and UPSTAIRS - lounge, dining, outside sun decks. House guests are requested not to use the upstairs kitchen - this area is primarily for use by the host to prepare breakfasts and provide beverages and snacks. OUTSIDE - there are lawn areas, an outside fire/BBQ available to house guests (except for total fire ban days).
Échanges avec les voyageurs
It is my hope that fellow house guests will take advantage of the daily beverage offering by mingling with other guests upstairs in our lounge. In colder/winter months the Lodge's open fire will be alight. In the warmer months our beverages will be served outside on the south deck (overlooking the Alpine National Park). Your host will be available to offer advice, directions and information to ensure your trip/holiday is trouble-free and memorable.
During the official ski season - (June - September) - snow chains for your car are required by VIC ROADS. Penalties may be applied to drivers not carrying snow chains during this period. For more detailed information please refer to Vic Roads website.
No outdoor shoes to be worn inside
Guests cannot use kitchen facilities for their own self catering - breakfast supplied by owner/host in the morning

I have been operating my "Cloud 9 Alpine Lodge" - boutique overnight accommodation (Bed and Breakfast) home in the beautiful small alpine town of DINNER PLAIN since March 2016. Having recently moved to Dinner Plain from inner Sydney and prior to that Seoul (South Korea) I am now enjoying a quieter and more purposeful lifestyle. My new home and Alpine Lodge is situated on the boundary of the Alpine National Park at 5,200 feet (1,600 metres). During the summer season Dinner Plain is significantly cooler than that of the low lands and during winter time we have significant snow falls and skiing in nearby Mt Hotham (10 klms). I look forward to hosting travellers and skiers to this most beautiful part of North East Victoria.
