My place is within easy reach of Brisbane CBD and the University of Queensland. It's close to public transport and parks. You’ll love eating or relaxing with a drink on the big balcony, sheltered by trees with native wildlife. My place is good for couples, small groups, or academics visiting UQ.
It's a 1924 'Queenslander' - the typical wooden house in these parts, set up on poles. Everyone loves the balcony to relax on. From there in the evening there is a good chance you will see two different species of native possums foraging in the trees.

I will typically be travelling, but accessible via email most times.
Washing machine works on the quick, 30 min cycle, other settings apparently stop at some point.
Dish washer is also acting up, apparently stopping part way through the cycle (there is a two-basin sink)
What may sound like the Hounds from Hell on the roof at night are the possums!
- pets on a lease outside thanks (because of wildlife)
- Leave all my books on the property, thanks
-I've changed the 'suitable for children 2-12' from a No to a Yes - but just please be aware there are steps up to the house and the garage/basement is a place children should be kept out of (gardening tools, sprays, etc)
I'm a New Zealander and have traveled since I was ten and have been in about 80 countries. I'm a scientist who has worked as both a university professor and an exploration geologist. I like to travel to see different cultures, people, the food and to try and understand the history and landscape.
