Think visiting a farm would result in a "Green Acres" experience? Think again!
This ain't your "grandpappy's" farm! We offer a wide variety of experiences from the leave-me-alone-I'm-resting-and-need-my-coffee experience to the full-immersion-up-to-your-elbows-I-wanna-be-a-farmer experience. Stillwaters Farm, in the heart of West Tennessee, offers the best of both worlds: a way to unplug, and a way to connect. So, plan a visit to rest, relax, reconnect, and rejuvenate!

Le logement
We deliver what the others can't: Sweeping farm vistas, a private, end of the road location, and a minimum of 1.5 acres of wandering room--all with the convenience of being within 2.5 miles of the city limits!

Located on the leading edge of a 153 acre farm in the heart of West Tennessee, The Cottage is furnished in "early farm-eclectic" decor, has full linens, a full kitchen, a full bath with vintage claw foot tub--yes, we do have indoor plumbing, and two charming bedrooms. One might say it's livin' in high cotton! We also have central heat/air, an outdoor lounging area surrounded by perennial butterfly gardens, and views of pasture and farm. Private on-site parking provided.

Accès des voyageurs
For off-farm activities, we happily direct our guests to area points of interest, historical sites, restaurants, and shopping.Guests enjoy full use of the Cottage and surrounding Cottage grounds and are welcome to shop The Silo Farm Boutique by appointment. Farm tours and farm participation available as upgrades.

SHORT Stays
Can't meet the minimum nights for the booking? Send us an inquiry! We work with guests to tailor stays to their needs. Pricing adjusted for length of stay.

Upgraded Stays
Looking for something a little more "hands on"? Guests can purchase the upgraded stay, once on-farm. This package includes one or more of the following activities, dependent upon weather conditions, guests comfort level, and season: morning feeding, hay, water; vineyard keeping; gardening; animal care and training.

WORKSHOPS are also available, priced individually. Check with us for current offerings and pricing.

Upgraded stays enjoy common areas including a pole barn pavilion gathering and grilling area, fire pit, and approximately 10 acres of ambling room that all overlooks our main pasture.

NOTE: Our attention to detail reflects our commitment not only to service, but also to quality. You will not find corners cut in our décor, furnishings, or essentials. Each item in our accommodations, from the largest piece of furniture to the smallest linen to the soap in the bath, has been thoughtfully selected and/or handcrafted with your comfort and the overall aesthetic in mind. We do everything in our power to ensure that you are receiving our very best.

Looking for something a little more "hands on"?

We also strive to provide our guests the ability to dive into daily farm activities, if desired. Farm interaction is provided at our guests' comfort level. Want to roll up your sleeves and dive right in? We would love it! Or, if you'd prefer, you can sit back, sip a cup of tea, and chuckle to yourself as you watch us work. It's all up to YOU! . Bring your cameras! We also host guest workshops on things like painting, collage making, and more. Just ask for details!

This entire property is a NO PETS, NO SMOKING, DRUG-FREE facility.

Aside from participating in farm activities, there are many things to do in West Tennessee within one hour of Stillwaters Farm. For off-farm activities, whether it is horseback riding, Civil War sightseeing, antiquing, fall foliage sightseeing, boating, dining out, or any of hundreds of other activities, we are happy to point our guests in the right direction.

NOTE: We provide our guests with the best internet connections available in our area. However, because of the limitations of rural access, we enable one device per adult guest to ensure that all guests have equal access to browsing.

NOTE: The vintage nature of this accommodation necessitates certain considerations. Instead of limiting our guests to tub baths only, our claw foot tub is equipped with a shower, but these tubs cannot be outfitted with shower doors. High-quality shower curtains are used, instead. We understand that most guests are unaccustomed to this set-up, and rest-assured, this was state-of-the-art technology for its time--and for the ambiance of the facility.

Henderson, Tennessee, États-Unis

While a mere two miles outside the city limits, The Cottage lends itself to a bygone era—a time when life was slow and simple. At the farm, surrounded by hundreds of acres of agriculture and virgin woodland, our guests can learn about gardening, livestock, animal husbandry, crop harvesting, or any number of activities going on at the farm during their stay. Or not. It's really all up to YOU!

Horns and sirens, traffic and commerce are a rarity around here. Instead, guests will be bathed in the comfort sounds of the country—a donkey’s bray, a dog’s bark, a horse’s whinny, and, on occasion, our sheep’s graceful, signature baas.

Butterfly gardens, in full bloom most of the year, are just off the outdoor lounging area, so guests can expect a visit from the local hummingbirds (in season), graceful butterflies, and bumbling bees on the hunt for a load of pollen. Songbirds, deer, and turkey inhabit the woods and meadows all around. A good book and a cup of hot tea will round out a most enjoyable farm experience.

Come, enjoy the peace of the country!
