Newly listed in June of 2017, this well-appointed and tasteful artist gallery is filled with Tommy Urbans' creations, but none of his personal belongings. So explore your space with its vaulted ceiling, where you’ll find an 8 foot ceiling fan. Check out the 60 inch 4K TV with live streaming. Or warm yourself by the linear gas fireplace. Once you arrive there’s no need to drive, so park it and start hoofing.
Note: Listed as 2 bedrooms, however there is no door between the 2 rooms. They are separated by 3 steps and a hallway. Please see pictures for a thorough view of the layout.
Proximity to destinations; Vin 909 0.2 miles, Boatyard Bar & Grill 0.3, Eastport bridge, gateway to the downtown area 0.7 miles, City Dock 1.1 miles, Naval Academy 1.2 miles
There is a Murphy Queen cabinet Bed, plus a Leather couch that turns into a queen bed allowing 4 to sleep comfortably, 2 to a bed.
Very calm and relaxed space, a great place to recharge as you discover the area.
Note: Hotel cleanliness standards vary greatly; with comforters frequently being a little dubious. Just how many turnovers are factored in before they get washed? High traffic carpeted floors can hide unwanted history. Walking in your bare feet should only make you feel free, never uneasy.
Our pledge; every guest will sleep on clean sheets, over a freshly sanitized mattress cover under a bed comforter or bed blanket that was cleaned before their visit. When shams are present, they are laundered every single time. All surfaces are cleaned and if something’s not right, let us know and it will be.
Life can be a mystery, but Airbnb stays should never be.

I'm kind of a non-intrusive, hands off-ish sort of live my life by my own rules while trying not to step on other peoples good time type of person.
But am totally available through text to answer any questions you may have. I've lived in the area most of my adult life and am always happy to help.
The house is on a main road to downtown. So there is a fair amount of traffic on the road in front of the house. There is also a fire station just down the road, so passing sirens often accompany the din of general city traffic. Please use caution when pulling out of the drive way. When walking downtown, the side streets are much quieter, so pick the path that best suits you.
Quiet time is around 11PM-ish. The property is private with its own entry door, but it is still attached to where I live, and noise can and does travel. So please be mindful, and I will of course do the same. Have not had any issues yet, but thought it was worth pointing out.
Grew up in Hawaii-moved to this area over 30 years ago. Left handed with an artist heart who works a 9-5 job to provide a place to live.
If interested in seeing the world I see, do a key word search using "Don Det 4000 tom urbanski" The first result should be a video I shot in Don Det 4000 islands in Laos. It shows where I stayed for awhile in a $5 a night simple grass hut along the Mekong. I've spent a lot of time since then trying to find that simplicity in the complicated world here. The people of SE Asia have so much less than we have of everything but happy...
