Beautiful home in the mountains of New Mexico. We had to get used to the thinner air, but other than that, everything was great! Viola had even done some grocery shopping for us and there were assorted fruits and pastries available. Viola was concerned that grocery shopping was going to be a chore, but it really wasn't. Mora has a small but workable grocery store, about a 15 minute drive from the home. Beautiful country. Lots of nature. The desert is farther south of where we were. We were in mountain country with coniferous forest, high enough that the temperature was comfortable and there was no need for A/C.

Kitchen is ready to use, as everything needed is available for home cooking. But, be aware, that aside from the basics, sugar, flour, cooking oils, salt, rice, beans, and more;, guests need to be aware to bring your own groceries if you're going to cook. The nearest restaurants are 14 miles, into Mora, NM; and/or 35 miles to Taos (very touristy).
