This beautiful 8 person home has been completely remodeled but still reminiscent of the original cabin built in 1926. It has a private homeowner's beach, pier, & possible buoy. Tall ceilings & a glass window wall looks out to the lake. 3 minute walk to Zephyr Cove Resort with cruises, horseback riding, parasailing, boat & kayak rentals. 4 miles from casinos & 15 minutes to Heavenly Valley. Only rented by the week from June-Aug. Additional 14% county tax. Please read all county ordinance rules!

A14% occupancy tax is separate and can be paid through PayPal or the Airbnb Resolution Center at the time of booking.

The county has a new ordinance for all vacation home rentals. Only 2 cars can be parked in the driveway (side by side only!) and a placard (supplied by us) must be in each car on driver’s side dash. Fines for owner of car for non-compliance is $500. Only people over 25 can rent. All renters will need to submit a copy of their drivers license to us. Every person over 25 will need to sign a supplied form saying they will be responsible for following the ordinance. Quiet hours of 9:00 pm until 9:00 am must be observed. Friends of guests may not arrive before 9:00 am or leave after 9:00 pm. and are subject to the same parking and signed forms (if over 25) as overnight rental guests. There is a rental limit of 8 people allowed, including children. Huge county fines apply to renters out of compliance!

There is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property. The Home Owners Assn. does not allow smoking on the beach.

This house is perfect for a larger family (8 people including any children), groups of friends, or business retreats.
It is a wonderful getaway spot on the beach or for a ski vacation. This brand new house features a stone fireplace, high ceilings, great vistas of the lake, & gorgeous sunsets. It has a small but fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops. We have a BBQ, stone patio & a deck for socializing outside; leather sofas, a large flatscreen cable TV, & game area for indoor enjoyment. The beach & lake are yours for relaxing, watersports, or just gazing. The views of the lake are outstanding from every room, but no view beats the full glass window wall of the Great Room.

This is a residential neighborhood where people live year round. Please be respectful. Quiet hours are between 9:00 PM- 9:00 AM. Enjoy the natural quiet and recognize noise carries in this environment. The house is in Zephyr Cove and NOT in Glenbrook (about 2 miles North) as the posting says.)

I am a retired teacher and my husband just retired from the National Park Service. Our Tahoe house was built in 1923 (the second house on the cove) and passed down to us through 3 generations. We're very proud of the recent remodeling of it and hope you will love your stay here at the Lake!

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive the lock box code to access the key and may arrive anytime after 4:00 PM. Check out is 11:00 AM. The house will be ready for you anytime you wish to come after 4:00. Parking is very limited and strictly enforced. Cars are only allowed in the paved driveway; There is a maximum of 2 cars including any trailer per county ordinance. Parking on the street is not allowed for safety reasons.
