Letto matrimoniale con bagno privato | double bed with bathroom en-suite |
Entrata privata dalla terrazza | Private entrance from the terrazza.

Le logement
Ideal for a couple or a single traveller. SLOW TRAVEL is the way to go these days and we encourage guests to book MORE THAN ONE NIGHT so as to have the experience of walking through the 'bosco delle fate' (fairy forest) or enrolling on walks to do Forest Bathing, Wolf Howling or Night Picnic with Fireflies.

You'll have your own entrance to a bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Outside there's a shared space, a terrace with a pergola.

Autres remarques
There are some extra things left in the room for you to use while you stay. These vary but usually include a kettle and tea/coffee, books, hot water bottle, bathrobe, torch, house slippers. cotton wool, tissues, cotton buds, shower cap, tourist information, umbrella, spare blanket, water, and a comfy chair. There is a table and pergola outside which you can use. Our cat keeps herself to herself, she is deaf and sleeps in the attic. She doesn't go near the guest room, so anyone with an allergy doesn't need to worry. In fact I'm pleased to say that already three visitors with allergies have said they had no difficulty. (Cat lovers can of course make an appointment to see her!)

Chiusi della Verna, Toscana, Italie

DANTE mentioned it in 'Paradiso' , MICHELANGELO ascribed his genius to its pure mountain air and depicted it on the Sistine Chapel ceiling. St. Francis loved its remote and craggy grandeur. High up in the Appenines, the Tuscan hill-town of Chiusi della Verna has long been a favourite summer retreat for Italians attracted by its stunning location nestling below an ancient monastery and surrounded by truffle-rich beech forests, but it has remained slightly off-the-beaten track to foreign tourists. Now tapestry weaver Lynne Curran and David Swift, teacher, toymaker and collector of books & old roses, have moved from Scotland to establish their studios in a 900 year old house overlooking the Tiber and Arno Valleys, and here they invite travellers to stay in a unique medieval accommodation as well as providing them with a convenient base to explore this fascinating corner of Tuscany.

David and Lynne moved from Scotland to Italy in 2006 where they now live permanently and have established their studios in a 900 year old house overlooking the Tiber and Arno valleys. It has long been a favourite summer retreat for visitors attracted by it's pure air, fresh spring water and stunning location, nestling below an ancient monastery and surrounded by beech forests. Ci siamo trasferiti da Scozia nel 2006 con i nostri 2 gatti.
