Peaceful and comfortable self-contained lodge in the grounds of a large garden with plenty of native bird visitors. Just 10 minutes walk to the national park, breathtaking views and magnificent bush walks. 20 minutes walk to Blackheath village.

Le logement
Govetts cottage is ideal for singles, couples, or couples with children. There are two comfortable single mattresses that can be placed in either the bedroom or the lounge/kitchen room. The cottage is not appropriate for more than 3 single adults.

We are conveniently located a short walk from the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, and a short walk from Blackheath village. We want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible - just ask if there is anything you might need while you stay with us.

There are several world famous bushwalks accessible on foot from the cottage, and many more within a short drive, which we will be happy to advise you about. You can enjoy live music and fine dining in Blackheath or 15 minutes drive to Katoomba where there are many more choices for both. Mt Vic Flicks is our award winning independent cinema just 10 mins away in Mount Victoria. Or just stay at home and watch Netflix from the comfort of your own bedroom.

You will have complete privacy in the cottage. You're also welcome to wander around the big garden and to ask us for laundry access for washing, drying and ironing (no extra charge). Just ask if you need to arrive earlier or later than the specified times, we are happy to be flexible!
