Pros: clean and lovely place, hosts very welcoming, and easy private parking. Con's: I was cold most of the time because the plug-in heater is small, without artificial light it is dark inside and small shower.

Olivia, Thank you for the comment and we wish you let us know if you need extra heaters, we want you to stay warm :) . The weather in Houston is usually warm, but we just had week super cold front this week. We have extra heaters upon request, just ask, don't be shy :). We have 4 windows in the apartment as photos shown, but because of the long summer time in Houston, we have sun protection screen on each of them, so the apartment stay cool in Summer time.
This was by far my worst air bnb experience! I killed multiple bugs, spiders and flys. The tub was disgusting and filled with soap scum. I had to call air bnb to force the host to come and clean it.. it was just inhabitable. My face literally broke out in hives because the sheets…

Unfortunately we CANNOT recommend this guest. we have hosted more than 900 guests, and I believe we have pretty big tolerance to all types of guests, but we do not think this guest is a respectful individual, in our opinion, It is not worth of any money in the world to have this trouble. She arrived 7 hours earlier prior the normal checkin time, and demanded to have immediate check in. I understood her frustration of not having planned this well ( i even messaged her the day before to confirm her arrival time, but she didn't respond) , and the phone conversation with her was very unpleasant since she was was not respectful and rude. She said she just called airbnb and demanded if she couldn't have a early checkin at the time, she wants to cancel it and have a full refund. I told her that once the current guest is out at 11am, we will work on her unit immediately and have it ready in 45 mins, but she said she didn't want to wait and she is going to cancel it. I told her it is up to her but the cancellation policy will be enforced accordingly, and early check in is a courtesy but not a demand. We have then already started working on her unit well before the regular check-in time. After our phone conversation, it is tricky of her writing a message saying that I agreed on the phone to refund her in full outside the police. However after she realized she can't get refund if she cancel due to this circumstance, she then said she will stay. 1 hour later after she checked in, she called and said she found a dead bug and asked us to come back to clean the shower. we went back to clean as she requested even though the whole unit was thoroughly cleaned before she checkin. we took photos of the unit just in case she came back with something else to protect ourselves. On her checkout date, she sent a message 1 hour before the set checkout time and asked for late checkout. We responded that we couldn't extend it because another guest is coming early too, and she didn't respond back and didn't send a checkout message as we requested all of our to do. After she checked out, I went in to clean and found the sofa was stained, and also found one towel was missing but later found she has tossed it in the trash can. When I asked her about it, she denied it, but I told her that I have photo evidence that the stain was from her and I can tell that she tried to clean the sofa because of the water spot around the stain. Then she messaged back saying that we charged $20 cleaning fee for the stay, aren't we supposed to clean those? And claimed that we framed her because of she asked us to come back to clean. I filed a resolution case for the damaging and cleaning of $103 with receipts and documentation, and shorty she filed a resolution case of $150 for her pain and suffering. Just be aware, in our opinion, this guest is not worth of hosting in your home.
