A picture is worth a thousand words. We travel somewhere special every year. The ambiance of this secluded tree hut more than fulfilled our expectations. A one of a kind and only a few steps from the beach. We enjoyed the birds singing in the morning & the nuts falling & rolling off the tin roof. There were gecko's on constant patrol in the hut to keep the bugs in check. Ron & Karen were the perfect host!

The Bali Cottage is even more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. A true work of art with dappled light coming through the antique tike panels. At first I though it was a bit dark, but I quickly came to appreciate it very much. I generally endorse the other glowing reviews. The only thing I would disagree with is I didn't think the bugs were bad at all. It's the tropics! Yes, there were bugs around, but none bothered us. I don't think I got a bite all week, and some were quite pretty. We wholeheartedly recommend the place, especially for honeymooners.

A magical experience! We arrived at sunset and Karen welcomed us into the cottage, we had just arrived in Hawaii, escaping from the stress of city life and it was a perfect place to feel immersed in an Island fantasy. Incredible antique carved panels, furniture and lighting we were transported to paradise the minute we stepped into the cottage. Comfortable, clean and with everything we needed, this is the kind of place you dream about finding, an absolute gem.

This is probably the most unique place I've every found on AirBNB. We only stayed here a single night but would love to come back. The cottage is stunning and romantic, and extremely well equipped. Karen and Ron were gracious, helpful hosts. The cottage is just steps from Kealakekua Bay (which has some of the best snorkeling on the island), and just a few miles from Pu'uhonua O Honaunau Park. It's a residential neighborhood so you'll need a car to get to other attractions and restaurants, but the cottage is so great that you honestly won't want to wander far :-)

My husband and I were looking for a unique Hawaiian experience, and we found exactly that and more with the Bali Treehouse. Ron and Karen have built an incredible atmosphere and were fantastic hosts, making sure our experience was even better than expected. The home is a just a short walk from the beach and centrally located on the island for good day excursions. Ron gave us great suggestions on things to try as well as what to avoid during our stay, but I'll warn you, the home is so inviting and the outdoor kitchen is so well-equipped that you will find you want to spend most of your time at the Treehouse!
