Autres remarques
We have two dogs & a cat but they won’t be present during your stay but we tell you this just in case of allergies. We have twin rooms for older children which link to a double room for the parents. Babysitting can be arranged on request. We can provide a cotbed as well (you must satisfy yourself that it’s safe for your child).

In the summer, the set up is perfect for outdoor dining and barbecues. There is a zip wire & trampoline at the property which we say not to use because they can be dangerous. Our children use it but we say not for guests because of safety reasons.

1 hour 30 direct train from London Paddington to Stroud. You can walk from the train station to our house (25 min walk or 5 min in a cab). Stroud is lovely old market town. The Farmers' Market is great for meeting and buying off local producers. Its famous to many chefs & restaurants nationwide. The Stroud Vallies are packed full of creative people from designers, artists, actors, directors to authors etc which is why we love living here. Eat at the Woolpack in Slad for lunch (walk there) or have lunch at one of the Street Food vendors in the market. Visit lots of the artist studios (Stroud is packed full of them). Nailsworth is 10 minutes away and has some lovely cafes and shops just like the antiques centre of Tetbury (20 mins away). Tetbury is close to Prince Charles's estate, Highgrove, and you can visit the Highgrove shop in Tetbury. Walk the Cotswold Way. Walk on Minchinhampton Common or Selsley Common with views over the Severn Estuary. Visit the Roman ruins in Cirencester or the Roman Villa at Chedworth. Go to South Cerney lakes and learn to sail, canoe, wild swim, paddle board, water skiing etc. Go to the beaches within an hour's drive or just relax in the 3 acres of beautiful gardens. You can paddle board the canals of Stroud (we’ve not done it but others say it’s fun).
